It is specifically formulated for cold press laminating of wood to solid woods, particleboard, MDF, plywood and other porous materials. Titebond Cold Press offers a moderate speed of set, a translucent glue line and contains none of the harmful or corrosive fumes typical of most contact cements. It also prevents bleed-through on open-grained and unbacked wood veneers.

Excellent glue for veneer. I used it with a board and clamps. Works great but does need significant dry time. Overnight worked best. Careful not to roll too much glue as it can harden into a solid ripple or bump.

This product must have been on the shelf quite some time. It could not be mixed as the solids were no longer able to be combined. Very disappointed as I had use this brand before without episode and had kepy well over the shelf limit with no degradation.

I have always hated using contact cement. S.elly and unforgiving. This has hardly any order and goes on easily and evenly. Cleans up easily and gives time to properly align materials. Holds great.

Cold press veneer glue works well with all types of veneer. It gives you plenty of working time to apply to the substrate place the veneer and put in a vacuum press. It is advisable to mix the glue throughly to make sure solids are evenly distributed in the glue to minimize bleed through.

This is an excellent glue for veneering but it was shipped in an oversized box with a useless amount of paper "padding". The unsecured glue bottle's cap/tip broke in transit, leaking inside the box before I received it. Because the cap/tip was was broken, I had to transfer the glue to an old bottle for which I have a functional cap/tip.

It is a professional product. The darkish colour does’t help if the glue penetrates the wood fibers.It has a good open time. WAIT a few minutes so the glue can dry a bit, it will be a bit less fluid before pressing.

It's a great product for it's intended purpose, cold press veneering. It's a high solids glue intended to reduce bleed through when used with NON paper backed veneers. It also will not creap like PVA glues. If you don't know what cold press veneering is and you don't own either a proper press or vacuum bagging system then this is not a product or you.
