I've been making a lot of cutting boards recently, and I started going through a lot of glue. I bought the one-gallon container to save money in the long run.My boards are made from any combination of cherry, walnut, hickory, birch, mahogany, maple, and purpleheart.This Titebond III glue is perfect for my needs. The glue has a longer set time, is waterproof once dried, and food safe to boot. I've consistently had great results, to where I won't consider any other glue.

good value for water proof glue. this gallon was the same price as 2 quarts from others - and since i go thru a bunch in my woodworking shop, figured it was worth it. i refilled my old quart and pint containers and glue seemed fresh.

Some years ago as a boatbuilder I became sensitised to epoxy resins used in boat construction.The Titebond III glue has enabled me to continue working. You need a more precise fit with this sort of glue, but assuming that you can do this, the glue joint is stronger than the wood parts that you are joining.I have carried out some not very scientific tests and have found that almost invariably the wood fails bfore the glued joint fails.

First time using Titebond 3 glue. It’s thinner then what I am use to but I do love it. Wanted to try it because I was making something that may have liquid in it and this is suppose to be waterproof. Great product
