Looking at these bolts carefully, they are superbly machined, and extremely lightweight. Weighing under 7 grams each, they offer a 30% weight savings over conventional chrome plated steel. Doesn't sound like much but every gram of weight savings is important on high end bicycles. Being made of titanium, they are exceptionally durable, and won't rust or corrode. No chrome plating to worry about. Stonger than stainless steel. If your high end BMX, mountain bike or other doesn't have this bolt being titanium, this is a relatively inexpensive upgrade worth considering. In the photo above, the M8x25mm titanium bolt is on the top, while a conventional chrome plated steel bolt that it replaces is on the bottom.
