The lock isn't strong enough to stop the tape from moving when I push it up against things. I like the format of the tape a lot though so I'm learning to deal with it.

The tape slides out smoothly. The retraction spring is strong enough that you have to remember to let the tape slide between finger and thumb to control the speed just as you do with the more expensive tapes.It has a solid hefty feel. It would not stand up to professional use but it is great to use for household use.The tape has imperial markings, inches , on one edge and metric on the other. The resolution is 1/16” for inches and millimeter on the metric edge.The black markings are sharp and show up well on the yellow tape.I would buy this again. And I probably will because the little ones borrow them but don’t put them back.

My tape measures tend to grow legs and walk away, so I was thrilled to find this compact, inexpensive replacement. Sturdy and easy to read, it's perfect for a small household jobs. And it doesn't take up too much space in my junk drawer.

Me gustó porque en la cifras fraccionarias viene impreso 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 ....1" y así en toda la cinta además qué es mm y std. Lo recomiendo uno para el hogar y otro para lo industrial
