Very easy to install - literally plug-n-play. All you have to do is replace your ordinary external tire valve caps with these sensors. These sensors are labeled FL - front left, FR - front right, RL - rear left and RR - right rear. Inside these sensors are small chipsets with a replaceable coin battery (CR1632). It came with tiny anti-theft nuts (4 ea.), a small wrench, double-sided adhesive stickers and a plastic mount for the display. I tried putting one of the anti theft nuts but decided not to install them - it's kind of a pain putting in and tightening these little itty bitty anti theft nuts. I got the display attached to my windshield (see my photo). I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra and its original TPMS just went out last month. This is the second time that its TPMS malfunctioned and they are NOT cheap to get it fixed by the dealer. Thank goodness I found this product in Amazon. I changed the Unit settings to PSI instead of BAR - i am used to read my tire pressure in psi. In my opinion this is all that matters to me - just to see my tire pressure for each tire. It offers a lot of information, High pressure alarm, low pressure alarm, tire temperatures etc. I did not bother to adjust these extra readings. It seems to me that it is reading low on the tire pressure but I have to do more checks to really see its precise accuracy. The display can be powered by USB cord or by Solar - there is a small solar panel built in (attached) to the display.

Screwed in the tire valve monitors on all 4 tires as they are clearly marked RR, RF, LF, and LR. I had already charged up the solar panel (can also use USB-C) built into the unit. You pretty much have to put this unit on the windshield if using their mounting method, or a side window that doesn't open. Reason? To charge the unit as the solar panel would be obscured if must mounted on the dashboard with the default means. That doesn't stop you from just using USB-C cable to charge it and mount it where you want, and just plug it in when it's needed.Turned on the unit, and it took awhile for it to read each tire, one at a time, and showed their measurements in BARS which is the European standard and I am in the USA. However, not hard to figure out as 1 BAR is 14.5 PSI. You need to set the minimum BAR and maximum BAR for your tires and while the default will probably work for standard cars I have a diesel truck and my tire pressure is considerably higher so had to set it to 4.1 BAR min and 4.8 max. A little tricky managing the navigation of the control panel using just one button but it's doable and once set you are good to go.So far so good, my tire pressure was immediately detected as low and I checked via a manual tire pressure gauge and it was pretty close to spot on. So this is a great little product for those that might travel a lot, drive to work everyday back and forth a fair distance etc. I will update this review if anything fails or even if it shows it's doing great. We have to see how well things hold up over time on this type of product. Though I give it 4 out of 5 with one star down due to some confusing instructions, and a one button control panel button that you set things by, and not being able to seperate the control panel from the solar panel so you could mount it easier. In many states you are not allowed to mount things to your windshield (I am not in one of them but still). So that could be a limitation unless you plan on a USB-C cable instead.
