This ITEQ Tire Patch Roller helps prevent this by allowing you to provide penetrating pressure over the patch as it vulcanizes and cures to force out trapped air bubbles that could compromise your patching job
A few passes with the 6mm diameter wheel and firm pressure lets the gear-like teeth press into the patch and force out air while also more securely adhering the patch

This tool is wide and wider than I needed it to be but that's not the fault of the tool. This works well on large patches but you can turn it up on the edge and use it on smaller ones. Handle is comfortable and it seems to be well made.

If you are going to install sound deadening in your vehicle, then this is a must have! I made the mistake of trying to install deadening without it and to foreverTo do half of my Jeep. Ordered this, received it the next day and cut my time installing the other half in half. Plus it helps smooth it down so much better.I would more than recommend this roller.

A large nail punctured my 6 month old tire. The hoe was too large for a plug, so I ordered quill patches and this roller, which you need to run over the patch to seat it. Worked like it was supposed to, and the price was better than competitors. Thanks
