I have gotten so many compliments on this outfit! It's comfortable and so easy to get on and off! I also love that my family can easily spot me on the mountain when we're skiing!

On the recommendation of trusted friends, my husband and I chose to order ski suits from Tipsy Elves. These ski suits not only make a statement due to the retro styling and details, but they are also very warm. My husband can easily wear his base layer underneath the ski suit while still having plenty of range of motion, which is critical while on the mountain.Ultimately, it is just fun to wear these retro-styled ski suits down the mountain and is such a win that they are also comfortable.

They claim it is water proof. Not at all true. Quite the opposite in fact. Seems to love absorbing water!!! Fun for sure lots of comments and such on the mountain but if you care at all about performance and what is promised by the manufacturer you will be disappointed. Zippers are also garbage and too few pockets and such. Zippers let the air right through which for me wasn't a problem because I run hot but I would imagine that would be a problem for others.

Beware, this thing will make you stand out and get comments from people all day! Whether it's the lift, going down the runs, or at the bar, you'll get positive energy all day long. Does it make you ski or snowboard better? That's hard to say, but it might!Pros:- Vibrant, great color.- Fits very good.- Has wind vent zippers on the sides to open up air if you are feeling warm.Cons:- No inner lining for boot so it's possible that snow could find it's way up your legs.- The side leg pocket zippers are not great for putting your hands in as the zipper cuts into your hand.- There is no hood, or option to add a hood.

Orginally bought a Womens sized XL. I wanted the suit to have enough space for under clothes. The Womens XL was tight around my butt. I have a 47" butt. I bought the Mens XL and I floated in it a bit, but it fit my butt and I could wear many layers underneath. I wore this in weather that got down to -7 degrees and felt fine. This is a quality suit that kept me warm and dry. I would say if you want to get one of these suits, they work great, but be sure to order a size or two up. My boyfriend wears an XL and he could not zip the suit up. In womens clothes I normally range anywhere from a medium to an XL depending on the look, and design of what the item is. I am 5ft and 7" tall. I weigh 175lb.
