Very soft pillowcase. I feel 100% safe leaving this with my daughter. It holds its shape and has the ergonomic design. The removable and washable plow case is incredible.

This was fine but it’s underwhelming. I ended up getting a more supportive one and am keeping this one as backup or for travel/ staying at his aunts. Make sure to get pillow cases for it.

This is a great toddler pillow. It is very soft and shaped to properly cradle the head and neck of a small child. It's the perfect size for a first toddler pillow. It came in a small vacuum sealed package so it was as flat as a pancake upon opening. However, after 24 hours it was completely puffed up to it's full size and ready to use. It's a great pillow. The pillow case on the other hand is not my favorite and we won't be using it. I understand that some people have an issue with the sizing on the cover. My issue is with the material. It is what they call Kaffle, which is a polycotton. I would think for $30 they could give you an organic cotton or at least a natural fiber pillow case. I do not want my child sleeping on polyester. In addition, the case feels odd. It is soft for sure but has a plasticky feeling to it. We are using the pillow but with a 100% cotton pillow case from another brand.

The pillow is soft and correctly supportive in all the right places for tiny necks, and I even like using it myself. But I do not like the feel of the cover. Definitely get a toddler pillowcase to put over it, or even just use one of your kids' shirts if you're in a pinch.

I ordered this for my 4 year old daughter. She cosleeps with us, and always wants to use one of our pillows but it looks so uncomfortable for her little head, so I gave this a try. It is excellent! The thickness is just right for her neck so that her spine isn't bend uncomfortably while she sleeps. It stays cool (she is a HOT sleeper) it is soft, it doesn't flatten completely and provides enough support. The zipper can be pushed into a pocket so it won't scratch her. The color is a nice, soft pink. I took off the cover easily and washed it (cold wash, low heat to dry) and it came out good-as-new. Overall, this does exactly what we were hoping for. Zero odor noticed when I unpackaged it, too. I have nothing negative to report about this pillow, it's a 10/10

I am not commenting on the ins and outs of this pillow for young children sleeping with it at home because that is not the purpose for which I ordered it. Although I have sheperded thousands of children of all ages through common ear and throat surgeries under general anesthesia, no one, adult or child, sleeps normally in the OR, nor do they have a pillow under their head, although head positioning devices are used for both, if indicated.Many things are subject to off-label use in healthcare if it is deemed therapeutic by a treating physician, so I don't find it unusual that adults would be interested in using this pillow for themselves. I actually had a small pillow similar to this one years ago and I can't find it. So when I saw this small pillow I ordered it because I need it for positioning while in bed. There are many ways this pillow can be used by adults to make themselves more comfortable and relieve aggravating aches and pains. Sometimes shifting a body part just a small amount can make a big difference in comfort levels, hence the value of having a small pillow like this one for adjustments.The pillow: Made of memory foam covered with a thin layer of polyester material, which can be spot cleaned. The outer zippered cover is about half cotton and half rayon and fits the pillow snugly. The zipper area is in the middle of the flat side of the pillow. While the plastic zipper is exposed, the zipper's metal pull tab can be slid completely underneath a small piece of elastic on one end of the pillow.I have read where some reviewers have debated on whether the pillow should have an additional pillowcase placed over the fitted, zippered one, or not. It seems to me that it would be easier to have two small "regular" pillowcases to rotate using as the outer cover while one is being laundered. At least that is what I will likely do to keep the pillow as clean as possible. Years ago I actually bought a small pillowcase to fit my now missing little pillow, but I don't know now how easy it would be to find now. If there is one, I am sure amazon sells it. If you sew, making a small pillowcase is one of the easiest projects to breeze through. If you have unused "big" pillowcases at home, you could cut the fabric to size and even use some of the seams in it in the new little pillowcase.I think the pillow and it's accessories are very well made, and I appreciate the better quality fabrics used in the zippered cover. Also, the recycled cardboard box is thoughtful, and maybe it is printed with less toxic ink too. I think the presentation as a whole makes the product very giftable for any person who would like to find out if it helps them feel more comfortable, sleep better and experience less pain.
