These little rocks were perfect for what I needed them for. They are a pretty dark grey color and great size. I recommend!

These rocks are a nice small size. Each is very smoothly polished. My hillstream loaches that like smooth stones love them. The stones also change to a darker color when wet, but under aquarium lighting still seems like a light grey. If you were to do an entire substrate of these pebbles, I think it would look really nice. Might have to order more.

These rocks are small. They are really nice for any aquarium in my opinion because I tried the fine sand substrate and the filter was sucking it up and it was clogging my filter so I now want something bigger but not too big. These rocks are really good size because they’re not too big and they’re not too small, but you have to wash them well because they are very dusty. I took a picture of the bag that these rocks came in just to show you about how big of a bag you can expect for a 1 pound bag of rocks. The rocks are smooth and feel nice to the touch.

I'm very impressed with the quality of these rocks, they are pretty consistent with only one defect that I could find. Just for the heck of it, I counted and looked at every one. There were 114 pieces and only one had some type of mineral deposit on it, maybe I could have even scraped it off but I didn't try. There was also only 1 piece that was really tiny, I'm perfectly fine with that. I couldn't imagine hand sorting these, but they were none of them were extremely oblong or oddly shaped, they must have a great source. Of course they were a little dusty and have a matte finish just like what is shown in the photos. There's not enough for an entire large aquarium, but a nice amount for a small fish bowl or two. I have a rock tumbler and may try polishing a few just for fun as well, but I'm very satisfied as they are. Thanks for the nice product.

So if you've seen "river rocks" before than you pretty much know what you're getting here, these are typical, perhaps a slightly higher more polished feel than most (not shiny mind you but, smoother than what you typically find with river rocks), but otherwise they are your typical river rock fare. That said I really like the size on these if 0.5"-1.0" stones, and I didn't easily find them elsewhere easily. These are great little accent stones in my opinion for a fish tank (which is my use case). That said I can't give them 5 stars because at this price point ($9 dollars) you really aren't getting much stone for your money - I mean 9 dollars a pound is pretty unheard of honestly, wildly priced - but that said, if you just need a small quantity of this smaller sized stones for some accent work in a tank or something, this might actually be one of the better ways to get it without ending up with way more than you need. I would absolutely never recommend this item for "decorative outdoor landscaping" as this tiny bag of tiny stones would be pretty much useless in that capacity which is part of the product listing - but for accents in a fish tank or other small project sure.

These river rocks are quite small and their shade of gray is pleasing to look at. There isn't a huge amount of them included but the cost isn't too high either. These would look really good in a plant pot or as decoration in a terrarium or aquarium.They were quite dusty when they arrived but the bag they come in has a couple air holes in it so I just ran water over them for a little while inside the bag and then dried them off.

There aren't a lot of rocks here. But it all depends on what you need. I'm going to use them to weight a vase that has fake flowers in it but it's too light and tends to get blown over. I'm hoping these will be enough.I got the one pound bag. The stones come in a small zip lock bag and they are very dusty. So be prepared to rinse them off. If you are using them with living things, I'd give them a quick wash and lots of rinsing.The stones are nicely shaped and lots of different shapes - very natural looking. The price is ok but not a bargain. But these will do nicely for many applications.
