I've been kind of obsessed with the pictures I've seen of parties that have fringe streamers criss-crossing the ceiling and making such a huge impact so I decided to give it a try. I could have used the cheap, fringe curtains but I would have had to trim them to length and they likely wouldn't have held up for multiple parties. So I was incredibly pleased when this fringe banner arrived because the quality is ahhhh-mazing! The strands are thick, don't shed and are well-secured in a band at the top. They are definitely something I can use over and over again. It came with 5 yards so I could span my living room with it and create a nice layered look without having to buy a ton. I would definitely recommend.

I used this trim on a festival/ parade umbrella ( it is a mini size umbrella). As you can see in the photo it provides nice coverage. This iridescent fringe does have a similar sheen to plastic wrap. It changes color as the light hits it. The binding edge is very well made. When a length is cut it doesn't start unraveling. The fringe itself is delicate and I don't think it would take a lot of abuse without tearing, but treated gently it should hold up indefinitely. I used a fabric craft glue to attach.

This fringe was great, just as pictured. It was nice and full. The fringe pieces on it are very small and narrow, so nothing wide and cheap looking even though they are the classic foil fringe material. It was hard to get to tape to something because of the fabric-like top. It did not tape well. We just had to make sure to tape and include a little bit of the top part of the nearest fringe, then it was fine. This could absolutely be pinned onto something with pins! My application was a handrail, so that wouldn't have worked for me.

I used this on a hanging lampshade. It looks fantastic! When the light is off, the fringe looks like an irridesant white. When the light is turned on, the fringe has an irridesnt rainbow color. I will try to get a photo uploaded later. I love it.

AMZTKDIY Tinsel Fringe Trim 5 Yards, 8Inch for Party Decor (Red, 8 Inch): Definitely not your typical party decor fringe. this could be used on fabric as well. My intent is to decorate tables with it. For this purpose it's very high quality. Love the feel of the fabric. It is not going to fall apart easily. It feels like tinsel but it is so layered, it's quite thick. Beautiful red color, very much like what is pictured here. Great find!

Tinsel trim can be expensive or poor quality, this is great for sewing projects. Color and length were accurate as well. Very satisfied!

This reminds me a lot of Christmas tree tinsel, not traditional fabric trim-I really don't see it holding up well long term. Maybe better suited for craft use like trimming stationary objects than something like a dress or coat, unless it is for a short term costume use.
