My Acer Nitro (AN515-51-5082) gaming laptop is loving the new 32 GB, up from 8 GB ram.I tried putting both sticks in right off the bat, but my laptop wouldn't fully boot. If you have this problem, try one stick first, and then install both sticks. Now it boots up without any issue.

I bought this to upgrade an HP Stream Model 14-cb116ds which had only 4 GB of ram, 64 GB of eMMC storage and a Celeron N4020 processor. The Timetec 8GB DDR4 2400MHz (DDR4-2400) PC4-19200 (PC4-2400T) Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL17 1Rx8 Single Rank 260 Pin SODIMM Laptop Notebook PC Computer Memory RAM Module Upgrade (8GB) since the Celeron N4020 can support 8GB. This was an easy and perfect upgrade.

Worked perfectly in my 2017 Dell XPS 15. Very easy to install of you have the correct tool to get the case apart (I did).

worked on my supposedky un-upgradable HP stream laptop. I got the upgrade specs from a chip manu site and matched it to this. Fit and recognized without any issues. Now the Stream loads much faster and will go through web meetings smoothly. I've used Timtec chips before and they've been a good bang for the buck. This was no different.

Works like charm in my hp Pavillion 15 ec series, an entry level. Games run much smoother. Cad and other 3d software runs better, performance improved. Note: I got a Samsung's 980 1 tb nvme ssd installed. It is upgraded to it's fullest. Also remember to reapply the thermal paste on cpu, gpu, time to time. Clean the fans, dust it out. Use paint brush if you don't have compressed air can. This little dyi will surprise you.

Okay computer memory time. It's difficult to go beyond 3 stars, since the only requirements are (1) it works in the target system, and (b) provide the advertised space and bandwidth.TL;DR: done. It works great for any system that needs this exact memory configuration. Why is it a 4 star review? Simple: As an almost obsolete product, but it's available.I happen to have a Fujitsu Esprimo Q957 that I wanted maximum memory on to serve as a media server. This memory not only works, but has survived many torture tests.

I recently started a college IT program and was told I needed to upgrade the specs of my computer as I would have to handle heavy applications like VMWare. I had 8GB of ram and wanted to max it out at 32GB. Crucial's website has a great app that scans your laptop/computer and tells you what the max specs and your computer can handle and also what parts are compatible. I used that to figure out that my laptop needed DDR4 ram that has a clock speed of 2400MHz. I did not go with crucial as I felt like I could get a better deal elsewhere. I looked around here and found this. I ordered it as the price was reasonable and there were plenty of great reviews considering the brand is not too recognizable. It arrived in quite the compact package which was nice. Inside were the two sticks of ram. I was a bit nervous as I was not sure if there was some kind of installation process to it. I opened up my laptop and found the ram slots. To release the current ram I had to release the two clips on both sides of the ram stick and then the ram goes up into a 45 degree angle and you are able to pull it out. To install the new ram I would insert the ram into the slot on a 45 degree angle. Once I saw that the ram pins were making contact with the motherboard pins I would push down until horizontal and eventually the connectors on the sides would clasp the ram. I have attached a picture of what my empty ram slots look like. If you are confused you can always watch a youtube video. Once I put in both ram sticks I closed up my laptop and turned it on. I was praying that something bad would not happen as I have had bad experiences in the past. I went to file explorer, right clicked this pc, went into properties and saw that ram section was updated to 32GB! I was quite happy. I looked around on the internet and found out that with ram there is usually no additional configuration required. I can say with confidence that this ram works with a Dell 7567 gaming laptop. I have had the ram installed for a few months now and can say that there has been zero issues. I can effortlessly run multiple VMs and my laptop can handle it which is what I wanted. One thing to note is that the price has gone down a bit since I bought it. I bought it at 299 plus tax and i believe now it is 238 plus tax. I am a little bit annoyed but it is quite the deal for people who are thinking of getting 32GB ram.Overall, I am quite happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to beef up their laptop specs.
