This is a solid product, it didn't work for me, it wasn't the product's fault.This brand is widely used and also very successful.Let me start by saying that I installed the insert into an aluminum block for head bolts.The block had been overheated to the point that everything that wasn't metal melted. So in my failed attempt to save money I tried to rebuild instead of recognizing metal degradation from heat, also you do need the insert, inserter tool to properly install the insert. Lol oh well live and learn.p.s. i ended up paying $275 for the 'BigSerts' kit (IYKYK), was able to get 1 head to torque and hold but the 2nd one pulled the inserts out again ..
