I bought this to hold my laptop so I coould work with it from my bed. The construction of it was simple enought to complete without the need for written direction. This is a good thing because directions were poorly written and hard to follow. Once put together I found that it was high enough for my needs and can support the weight I put on it, my arms/hands and laptop but is not super sturdy overall. The supoort rod that goes down the center of it does not fit properly into the base and my desk sort of perches on the base.While it fits my needs and has not fallen apart after a few weeks I do not see this lasting long. I didn't pay much for it, thankfully but know I will be upgrading it in the future.
