Great tracker, bought for my grandad as he has developed dementia, so we have put this in his wallet to put our fear of losing him or him getting lost at ease as we are able to see where he is, the tile updates quite regularly and has a great app which is very easy to setup and use, it is the same size as a bank card but slightly slimmer, nice design, good value for money

Insert one of them in your or any elders wallet or bag and be carefree. I have dementia relatives and it serves me well. Even I carry one in my wallet, just in case I forget where I am! 😀

If you're looking for an accurate, durable (3 years of battery life*) and small enough to fit almost anywhere.The tracking is really precise and updates and keeps log of your travel history and once you're close, you have it make a noise to be able to find your missing item (wallet in my case). Or even better, if you instead lost your phone, you can use this item to locate and make a noise same as you would looking for your wallet. Best part is the appearance of it makes it look sleek and modern, and if you want, turn on anti theft mode at your discretion.In anycase, look nowhere else. If you're looking for a reliable, long lasting item that looks nice and does it's job without issues and beyond, look no further. Just buy it. You'll thank me later.

I used to lose track of my wallet in my house constantly, since I often forget to move it when I switch from pants to shorts for changing weather or a workout, etc. With the Tile Slim, I can easily track it down using the app and the audible chime, which is loud enough for my use.The main problem with the design is that it's too easy for the button to be pressed accidentally if you keep your wallet in your back pocket. This sets off a chime and rings your phone if you have the Find Your Phone feature enabled. I highly recommend disabling that feature if you sit on your wallet. Even with Find Your Phone disabled, the chime on the Tile Slim kills the battery way ahead of the 3 year mark. My first one died around 1 year, and I disassembled it to see if I could replace the battery. I'm an electrical engineer, I don't recommend disassembly of devices with potentially damaged lithium batteries for just anyone. Nondestructive disassembly seemed impossible due to the glue used, but I did confirm via DMM that the battery was actually dead. After that, I found out that it was still in warranty and I could have gotten a replacement.My second one just died, also at about 1 year, and Tile is sending a warranty replacement at no cost to me. If there were a better option out there, particularly with a replaceable battery, then I'd switch, but for now this is invaluable for my day to day problem of needing to find my wallet quickly so I'm not late to appointments.To anyone at Tile reading this - please update the firmware and app to provide an option where users can either turn off the chime or require a much more convoluted trigger path so it doesn't happen so often.

My son misplaces things all the time. He has tried to get better with this but it's a struggle. When he got a job and driver's license and had to start carrying his wallet around, even he was worried. I purchased this item hoping it could help and give him peace of mind. It has helped on more than one occasion! When the wallet has been missing in the house he has easily been able to find it using the app on his phone. We have also purchased Tiles for his keys and other important items!Allow me to edit this review to add: my son lost his wallet after a high school football game. It was found by an individual on the opposing team who took the wallet home with them. It is a long story and the individual intended to give the wallet back, but they did not contact us until the next day. In the meantime, they went home to a neighboring town with the wallet. We were able to track his wallet to their house with the app, as they must have had a tile app as well. We were able to go to the police and report the wallet missing and show them the app indicating where the wallet was to get assistance. In the meantime the family reached out to us in order to return the wallet with all the contents - yes, there are still very good people in the world! This works quite well, even if you think it isn't going to!!This item is slim, a little bit thicker than a credit card, you simply slide it in your wallet. Download the Tile app on your phone and walk through the instructions on the app to get it connected. Should you misplace your wallet, you can log on your phone and it will help you locate your wallet as long as you are in the vicinity of the item.While it is intended for a wallet or something like this, you could use this tile in just about anything you wanted to keep track of. A purse, backpack, suitcase, etc.

You can also double press the button on your Tile Slim to make your phone ring, even when it’s on silent. If you lose your Tile Slim, you can enlist the help of the Tile Network, which is a community of Tile users who can anonymously report the location of your lost item. Tile Slim also works with smart home devices like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, so you can use voice commands to find your things.I like Tile Slim because it’s very thin and discreet, and it fits easily into my wallet and laptop case. It’s also very easy to set up and use, and the app is user-friendly and intuitive.
