First off, I would like to say from a product functionality standpoint, this thing rocks! It produces plenty of bubbles and is fun for the kids. But the design is not the best for inserting the battery and some the plastic feels a little flimsy so I fear it is just a matter of time before it’s accidentally broken. So if you’re willing to put up with a little battery frustration and careful with it then it’s great, if not, this may not be right for you.

My toddler enjoyed playing with this tiki torch bubble machine. It was very easy to set up by following the instructions. The battery came with some charge but can be charged more via any USB charging port. The 4 ounce bubble solution is poured into the top compartment and you need to pull the long plastic tube out of the bottom of the tiki torch. The machine is very easy to use, just an on and off switch. It produces a lot of bubbles at a fast rate while playing a song. It probably uses up solution at a fast rate so I would make sure to turn it off when children are no longer playing with it or bubble solution will be wasted. Another nice feature is that the tiki torch can be separated from the stand and held in your hand, so it's easy to walk around with it, and it doesn't have to be stationary.

Whomever designed this must really love a challenge, the battery pack is mission impossible level with it's micro screws that are angled in a way even once you locate a screwdriver that fits it needs gymnastics to obtain the right angel and pressure to move the screw. The plastic is more brittle and thinner than expected not sure how long this product will hold up to time. The music is alright but as expected sounds robotic. The bubbles go quickly and reservoir to store more is small which makes this a quick bubble experience before refill is needed. This also makes getting everything ready a whole process while the play is short lived. Would have preferred a little more thought in development of this product.
