Have this set up using my power station. Works perfect and lights up great and keeps the bugs away. Tiki's customer service is fantastic. I like their innovation.

I wish I had spent $20 on a strand of string lights rather than $150. The bitefighter cartridges may reduce the mosquito presence a little but not nearly enough that I would recommend these to someone at their price point. unfortunately I invested in two strands. Ouch (mosquito), Ouch (wallet)!

I bought this light system a couple of years ago. Living in South Texas, it’s always a challenge to spend time outside. Too hot during the day and too many bugs at night. This system has given us back the night. I do find that I have to turn on the system at least 30-minutes before we go out. But, I’m able to spend a good amount of time without covering myself with sticky bug spray.I know the refills are pricey, $25 per pod!! But, I have come to conclusion that it’s worth it. I don’t seem worried about the price when I’m outside.

We live by a filthy lake. Mosquitoes have been our nemesis from day 1 of living in our house. We used to have to sweep off mounds of mosquitoes off our front porch weekly, and this is after spending $350 a month on professionally mosquito spraying. We've used mosquito dunks, we've used purple bug zappers, menthol lawn treatments. All to still have swarms of mosquitoes. We still get professionally sprayed but the only thing on top of the spray to completely get rid of the mosquitoes are these lights!!! I haven't seen ONE mosquito this year. I am so thrilled. They look beautiful too. You can't smell whatever liquid is being emitted. So far we have had them running just about all day and all night for over a month and the liquid is still full! Huge huge win in our book!

I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars because I literally just installed the lights, so I can't speak on durability. I won't dock a point for my own human error, but I will mention it in case anyone else encounters the "issue" I encountered. After screwing all the lights and diffusers in, I plugged the unit in, and none of the lights came on. Not one. I read some troubleshooting instructions about resetting the breaker and replacing the fuse in the diffuser switch, then I just asked the handiest person I know (my mother) what she would do. She asked me if I had screwed the lights in tightly enough - this is a known issue for Christmas tree lights :) I definitely have never tightened any lightbulbs as tightly as I tightened these lol. But, it worked! So if the bulbs don't work, they may not be duds. Just twist a little more. So far, they add a nice ambience to the deck. I'll see how the repellent diffusers work this evening. The diffusers can't really be "tightened", but I can smell them working. So far, I would recommend.7/4/23: Update! I’m updating to 5 stars because these lights and diffusers have made my deck amazing and enjoyable. They definitely keep bugs away. My daughter would never come outside because she has an allergic reaction to mosquito bites. Now we have 0 mosquito problem. My son spends hours playing at the water table and comes in with 0 bites. In the daytime I just leave the lights loosely screwed so they don’t come on. They’ve lasted well and I still have the 2 original replacement bulbs just in case. This is summer #2 and diffuser refill #1 and I couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommend! Worth the money by far. Also, this unit is definitely weather-proof. Last summer I took it down every time it rained. Now I just unplug it. And mid Atlantic weather is no joke. We get a lot of storms. I also left it outside all winter. I rolled it up and left it on the back porch under the awning. I put sandwich baggies around the diffusers for some reason lol as protection? Lol But now I know that’s unnecessary. They were good as new this summer, just running low on repellant (from the previous summer, not evaporation) so I replaced them. Now the whole assembly is hanging out rain or shine.

Great light, sturdy, beautiful. Liquid pods go fast in high temp States ARIZONA because of evapiration and the pods ARE NOT REFILLABLE which sucks because the replacement pods are $70 a pack and only sold on the TIKI website. Pods should be refillable. Pods last 1 - 2 months in normal heat 80 - 90 degrees. But still happy with the product, no regrets.

We love spending time on our patio outside, but mosquitoes tend to attack my husband and daughter no matter how often we have the yard sprayed or how much bug spray I slather them in. These are expensive, but I figured if they worked they'd be well worth the price! They look great in our yard, are very sturdy and actually keep the bugs away. We're really enjoying spending nights outside now without hearing complaints of being eaten alive or having to call it a night early because my sweet-blooded family can't take the mosquito onslaught anymore!

The product is well made and does seem to be fairly effective. The pods do not seem to last as long as the listed 200 hours. I am going to start logging the time just to see what the actual time really is. I also have one unit that seems to be burning the fluid at almost twice the rate. This product is very expensive to refill and you cannot use bulk fluid. Tiki sells the refills at $72 per three pack. I have two strings, so this is going to get pricey very quickly. I wish I had researched this before purchasing.
