About this item

  • Our ultimate TightSpot wrench to work faster in small spaces: Our incredibly priced, 4 degree ratcheting movement is designed to access spots where standard wrenches will not have enough swing. The 90 teeth inside the 100% steel ratcheting box end will speeds you through jobs quickly with no need to lift. And without lifting, you stay glued to the fastener until the turning is done, even if you're reaching deep into a compartment or appliance.
  • Powerful 7 stage construction for lifelong reliability: Our secret is drop forging & heat treating our amazing steel alloy. Aerospace Grade Vanadium hardens our steel alloy even more, while chromium helps to prevent corrosion.
  • Reduce bolt rounding: The reinforced open end holds on tight to fasteners for reduced bolt rounding.
  • Guaranteed forever: If, for whatever reason, you don't absolutely love your Tightspot Tools ratcheting wrench, just return it, and we'll refund every penny (Or replace it, if there is a problem).
  • Habitat for Humanity donor: When you build your dreams with us, it enables us to build other's dreams.

Is It Possible For A Wrench Built For Tight Spaces To Be Agile And Fast In Any Situation?

Faster In Tight Spaces Than Our Standard Wrench
Our extra precise ratcheting wrench is faster to use in tight spaces than a standard wrench, because it allows you to have continuous engaged with the bolt while you tighten it. Reseating bolts in tight, dark spaces kills your productivity. In our tests, we have seen huge speed improvements in tight spaces over our standard wrench. We couldn't be happier!

Prevent Stripping Bolts!
Another downside of reseating bolts over and over, is it can round out and destroy the bolt head. Once the bolt head has been rounded and you aren't finished, your project goes on hold until you can fix or replace the bolt. This can take hours!

Additionally, our contact points are designed to quickly grip critical areas of the fastener to support maximum force transfer while preventing rounding.

Our Strongest Steel Ever!
To make our drop forged tool even stronger, we added the best strengthening agent for steel: vanadium! And if you want numbers, our hardened steel is 67% percent stronger than other steels.

Our TightSpot Wrench is Perfect For:
- Electricians
- Technicians
- Home Projects
- Lawn Care Equipment

Dare To Compare! Go ahead and compare the Tightspot Tools ratcheting wrench to any other on the market. Once their wrench bruises your knuckles or wear out quickly, feel free to come back and use the Tightspot Tools ratcheting wrench. However, your knuckles would prefer it if you'd be kind and order a safe, durable and comfortable ratcheting wrench now.

i have a pile of wrenches, but these ratchet wrenches are just so nice to have, especially when working in a tight area that makes it a pain to remove the wrench repeatedly.

1: Why do we want it? Need to tighten our trailer hitch ⅞” extension bolts. In a “tight spot.”2: Unboxing: Comes in a plastic wrapper and was so heavy it fell out and announced its arrival with a bang! Watch your toes.3: Instructions: There is an arrow etched into the ratchet so you know which way to place it to turn it. Woohoo! Right tighty... Lefty loosey... You don't even need to remember that.4: Install: Comes as one solid piece of steel with ratchet built in. Just use it.5: In Action: Magnet test establishes this is chromed vanadium steel. It’s also a 12 point, which was beneficial getting it under the bumper. We call these dog leg wrenches, and they’re a favorite type of wrench with a built-in ratchet for something you need to do over and over - in tight places. This wrench is very robust, got into our tight spot and will live in the trunk with other tools we keep handy for the rig.Pros:No parts to misplace versus a socket. Great for dedicated uses like our trailer hitch. We have a few in other sizes from other brands that do not have an arrow on it. We’ve used tape and pen to try to mark what way to set the ratchet end on a bolt head, but the arrow on the Tight Spot brand is so simple it’s kind of odd that this is not a universal mark. I would definitely buy other sizes just for the arrow because how many times have you finally gotten into that tight spot only to need to flip the wrench?Cons:Can’t really think of any. This will get non-routine use as a specialty item so only time will tell if the bearings inside will hold up.ProTip: Use the arrow!

Coincidentally, I was going to change the oil on one of our vehicles the day this was delivered and got to use it since the bolt is 18mm.I know socket wrenches are pretty straightforward. They either work or they don't and this one did just fine. I use an 18mm fairly often, and it was very convenient not to have to take out my entire socket set for one bolt. That part I like the best about having one of these. There are directional arrows on both sides indicating which way the ratchet turns. You can see them in the two pics I posted of the different sides. The quality of the metal is decent. It feels solid and is just as heavy as the Craftsman and Kobalt versions I've seen at Lowes. The quality of the socket part seems to be just as good as any other I've seen in hardware stores. The motion of the socket portion is smooth enough, and it locks into place nicely when you untighten or tighten the bolt. The oil bolt was on there pretty good. When I applied a lot of pressure, it didn't slip, and it gripped the bolt nicely.Like anything, time will tell if it continues to perform the same. I live in the Southeast near the coast, so corrosion is always a concern with tools. Tools with inferior metal tend to rust within the first year. If there are any signs of corrosion, I will update the review, but as of now I would definitely recommend this brand.
