The gi look likes it would be thicker, but it looks more like a shiny bathrobe lol. A hapkido gi needs to have some thick and strong material do to all the throwing and grappling. If I use this gi for hapkido training it would rip. It does look shiny and cool though.

This is an off brand. Not made my Tiger Claw! But it does fit nicely. I give 2 stars because the sellers are liars and deceptive.

I'm not looking for a judo gi style that is very heavy, but something slightly heavier weight would be nice. The sleeves are way too long. Keeping them rolled up is an issue in part due to the light fabric. I had to cut them off and hem them.The only other option I've seen for this style top that is heavier is too heavy. Something halfway in between is what I would prefer.That said, these do give good freedom of movement.

These uniforms are comfortable to wear and take quite a beating without ripping. Our schools has switched to this brand and material for high rank uniforms because it is so durable. We have tried most other materials and ripped through the majority of them, including heavy weight karate uniforms and judo uniforms.This seller shipped quickly and on time. I am very pleased with the results.
