These work great. It definitely keeps the water in the sink. I purchased these for my kitchen sink. As long as the water is hot or warm this will be easy to remove. If the water is cold it is hard to remove. Takes alot of force. If the sink is empty, the water remains warm they are the best. Just don't let the water get cold.

At first I thought I bought the wrong size but no, the rubber gasket is just very stiff at first. I think holding the stopper in hot water might help soften it before plugging the sink. At first I couldn’t fully seat the plug, but after using it for awhile I finally got the sink completely plugged and it held the water perfectly, no leaking or seeping out. The next concern, since it was so firmly plugged in, was how to get it unplugged. That turned out to be pretty easy, even though the ‘handle’ is slippery when wet. I guess the main thing is, even if you can’t seat the plug at first, even a sort of cock-eyed plug in will work pretty well and eventually it will fit a standard kitchen sink beautifully. This plug is worth the very reasonable price and then some. (I do not have a garbage disposal.)

These make a good seal, but the stem is a bit short and smooth with just a tad shaping… making it hard to remove.
