My husband loves the convenience of a light weight chainsaw! Has an extra hand to hold bushes/ branches for easy trimming. There is a minor problem with the chain falling off, but it is easily put back on. Good power.

Good saw, works great. Easy to operate and very efficient. The build quality is solid, and it cuts smoothly. Perfect for both beginners and experienced users.

This mini chain saw works great. It comes in a nicely packed kit and includes 2 batteries and chains. I've done a lot of work with it and it's easy to use. It's small and lightweight but I've used it to prune some rather large branches. It's really become one of my favorite tools around the farm. I liked it so well I bought it again as a gift for a friend!

I like this saw because of it's size and ease of use and care. I've only had it a few months and have used it to cut up small tree branches around the yard. Recently we had a huge 40 year old (dead) pine tree cut down. The landscaper we hired to cut AND haul away, changed his mind halfway through the job and didn't haul it away. Instead he left a huge pile of mess with a lot of brush all mixed in with all different size logs, from small to huge. It was like playing a huge game of jenga trying to pull apart the mess safely. I spent the last 3 days cutting up the smaller brush and separating it from the bigger logs/branches. My little 6" saw is all I had (I'm an older woman not particularly strong). I now have a nice large stack of small firewood (1/2" to 6" diameter) and my yard is much cleaner now with the brush cleared. (still have the large stuff to deal with - looking at a bigger saw lol)My only complaint is battery life and charging. It takes several hours to get a full charge (like 4 or 5). I got the extra battery so I charge one while using the other, but it runs out of charge in like 45 minutes? depending on the cuts and how much you are using it. So a lot of down time waiting for batteries to charge. That said, I don't think it's meant to be used all day. So for the normal around the yard work it does actually get quite a bit of cuts out of one battery charge. Just not enough to do a whole tree. I definitely recommend getting the one that comes with 2 batteries. Really happy with this purchase.

First the bad. The adjustment screw fell out after only one day. The cover had to be tightened really tight to keep the chain tight. It caused the bolt hole in the chain-cover to wear on the right and left side, so it is not a good fit anymore. Also, it has cracked. Still tightening it down with grizzly bear strength does keep the chain tight for quite some time. Now the good. I must have cut up close to a half cord of wood with this saw. I changed the chain after two weeks of constant daily use at my campsite. I sawed up to 10 1/2" diameter standing dead oak (Beechnut) trees with this. It ate through them like butter. I intentionally put this saw through the paces to prove it a bad purchase, but it proved me wrong! I bought a quick charger and two extra batteries that I charged with a 12 volt to AC converter (120 watts max) each taking about 20-45 minutes to charge. This put no drain on my car battery at all and I used this saw for hours at a time. I did have some issues with two of the batteries not taking a full charge and going caput after only 10 or so minutes of use. At other times they took a better charge but not dependably so. I numbered the batteries with a permanent marker, so I know which two are not up to par. The other two hold a charge for up to and over 45 minutes dependably. I can see no problems in its ability to saw cords and cords more and still have life left in it if the cover holds out. This saw is made better than you would think overall. Just wish they had replacement parts so I could replace the chain tightening screw and the cover when it wears out. It does not guzzle chain oil like full size saws do. I used biodegradable oil in it and did so with the environment in mind. I bought the 16-ounce container of it and there is 3/4's of it left after 2 weeks of daily use of about 2-3 hours. If you have doubts about this saw don't. Just keep an eye on the tension screw. I would suggest putting a nut on it and keeping a small wrench handy so you can tighten the nut down after you get the tension screw where you want it. A washer in between the nut and body of the saw would help keep any wear down to a minimum. This will keep the chain tight longer. It might add a bit to retightening it when it gets loose, but it will keep you from losing the screw and keep the cover in better condition. I would recommend using the brush in the case and giving it a good cleaning after each heavy usage. That means removing and cleaning the inside of the cover and the bar as well. The first chain is still very usable after nearly a 1/2 cord of wood. Man, what a great saw this is! I have had ten spinal surgeries! This saw sure made it a whole lot easier for me to do wood! Before I was using a Silky which broke on me plus it used my day up for only one night's firewood leaving me exhausted and in severe pain. I cut three nights worth in one day with this Tietoc saw and still have time to relax and enjoy my day! This is not toy. It really does work as stated. Be careful and spend less time on cutting wood while enjoying a nice hot fire at night without working yourself to death!
