It will do, but it's not very good. Thicker wood would have been better, and a design that makes it easier to assemble would be best. Also, the size is wrong for greeting cards. It's way too wide for a single card on each shelf, and too narrow for two. As is, I don't recommend it, unless the size is perfect for something you make/display.Oh, and they forgot to include instructions, or even a picture of the assembled product. So if you give it as a gift, folks are going to be annoyed and confused.Note that it's unfinished, so if you don't want it to get marked up and dirty over time, you'll need to put some paint or polyurethane or something on it to protect the wood. This is pretty normal for these kinds of displays, though.

This card display is just okay imo. It’s slightly annoying to assemble as it falls apart every time a piece is added and even when it’s all put together, it is still pretty fragile and would break or fall apart fairly easily. There aren’t any instructions included in the package (but video instructions are available in product images). Despite the issues, it looks very nice and is still a decent display.
