I bought 4 of these. Well built could have slightly bigger boxes for a few of my ties. But overall 90% are a good fit.

I wouldn't let this product touch a piece of tissue paper, let alone a silk or fabric tie. The inside wood slots are extremely small and also *extremely* rough. I don't recommend you put a tie in a slot, but if you do, you will feel and hear the fabric or silk catching and ripping.

I first started using this as a sock organizer but changed & now use it in my nightstand to keep all of my misc items in order. I keep everything I need handy next to my bed & these keep them organized and everything has its spot. The quality is excellent and can be used for so many different things. Great product and great value for the money.

My husband put this to use right away, stacking the two organizers on top of each other on his dresser. His ties look really nice in them. It makes it really easy to see his options when he's choosing his clothes for the day. They would also fit nicely inside a drawer, but I'm not sure I'd choose to hang them on a wall. (That's a personal choice, though; you might really like them hanging on your wall!)My husband is 60 years old and still laments the passing of the wide-tie phase. He still has a couple of those (he just can't part with them) and they don't fit as well inside the square compartments. He said if wide ties ever come back (I guess it's possible, right?), then that would be a problem. As long as skinnier ties are the style, these boxes will work well.With all of that said, I think they might be a little overpriced. They went together well. They look nice. They feel sturdy. I don't know, maybe I'm cheap. LOL! If you're happy with the price, you'll be happy with the organizers.

Looks good but prepare to sand the rough insides so it won't pull up treads from you ties.I'll be returning mine since it only fits medium to narrow size ties only.

I confess I got this for organizing my husband’s tiny bottles of his war figure paints and it is perfect for that use. I can also see how this would be a great way to keep ties wrinkle, tangle, and dust free but you do have to roll them up to stow. Sturdy and well-made. A nice alternative to cheaper flimsier containers. I love that it comes in black and white.

I bought this based on the pictures. I guess I should have measured. I know ties are different sizes but just about all my ties don’t fit in this. I mean they do, but they are going to be crushed and wrinkled. So measure before you buy.
