What I liked is they will do the job. What I did not like was I could not drive them into my soil. First 6 -8 inch of soil is softer organic soil with roots. That was also tough to find a spot with less roots, below that is a very hard pack clay like silty sand, moderately dry. I could not drive thru that, 5/8 rod even begins to bend and twist. I was using a 4-foot steel wrecking bar and also 6-foot 2x4 trying to twist these down. Always with 8 inches to go, they hung up and won't go down anymore. I ended up hand digging out the full depth and filling with concrete to anchor these in place. I do believe 8 will hold down the shed fine. I secured them to the 4x4 with 7" 5/8" diameter galvanized lag screws. Their holes placed right against 4x4 side bolted. I ran the usually associated tie down strap from roof to 4x4, nailing it on to hold the entire shed together. Easy to cut and drill nail holes. I figure in a bad wind storm-hurricane, the side pressure on the wall could be up to 50 psf in a bad cat 4 hurricane gust, so 12x16 + 12x7 +12x5 is 192+ 84+60 is 336 sq feet to the wind at 50 psf is 16,000 pounds potentially pushing on the side of a shed. Where we live most we ever get is cat 2 hurricanes, and I think this will hold ok except for a very rare hurricane.

These are the best buy on heavy duty tent/boat house ground anchors out there by far. I bolted mine to my RR tie framework and it is never moving.

These are the real deal - professionally welded, proper attachment points, generic paint coating, two discs. One of the ways I'm confident these are made well is because in the process of driving them into the hard desert ground using a crowbar and long extension boards the stakes never bent or twisted under all that torque. As a comparison I previously tried to buy some cheaper ones that only had one disc and those entire stakes actually twisted or bent just in the process of driving them into the ground

We have a 25' x 12' hangar-style shed we need secured to the ground thanks to 2020's active hurricane season. This in combination with 1/8" wire rope works like a charm. Quick delivery, items as described, easy to use, boom. Buy them.

I had to get these in the ground for my semi-permanent travel trailer. The soil was a little rocky so I was worried how well they would go down. Had to get a cheater pipe on the prybar that I was using but they went all the way down. I was really putting some torque on these and was worried that the auger blades might snap or the bracket on the end might twist off but with every rotation they just kept digging in. Great product, exactly what I needed!
