Love they are compact, controlled, pull test can be for one wire and not destroy the entire splice if it is not secure. No more twisting my wrist. Mixing wire types is much easier and they operate at cooler temps.

I like these connectors for ease of use and connecting different size wires, however, I do find them to be too bulky and not handy for shrink tube.

I bought this set to do some electrical work. I have never used this kind of thing before but I watched a video by an electrician on how they work. I thought they were pretty sharp so I thought I would give them a try.I used them specifically for a single junction box with 3 incoming leads. 12/2 with grounds. I used them to build pigtails for a 20amp branch circuit.I have to say they worked perfect! Each unit takes up less space than a twisted pair with wire nut. Plus they stack up real nice in the back of the junction box once each wire is bent to accordion in the back.It was a very full box after all was said and done but these little guys made it easier. Especially since I used a 20amp plug which tend to be a little deeper than a standard 15amp unit.The only negative, which really isn't a negative, it to make sure you strip each wire to the correct length.At first I had a tendency to strip them a little short so as not to have any bare wire sticking out of the connector. They seemed to go in and lock down just fine, but the lever lock didn't quite grab the wire and it pulled right out.Now this is because I didn't strip them down far enough, but also because the wiring is on the older side so the sheathing is quite a bit thicker than modern Romex sheathing.Anyways, just make sure you get the exposed length of wire correct and things will be great!

These connectors are solidly built and work great. I ordered them as I wanted a way to quickly connect and disconnect my solar trickle charger to/from my lawn mower battery (without having to remove the wires from the battery posts each time). The cam action levers lock the wire very securely and they are easy to release. It probably isn’t the best quick release system as the wire being connected and disconnected will sure wear out and need to be re-spliced, but the connectors work great. I like that the individual connectors can be joined together, keeping multiple wires neatly arranged.

Great connector! Holds tight to stranded 14 gauge wire and the tinned stranded 18 gauge wires used for connecting the new LED driver power supply to repair one of the lamps under the cabinets. Easy to use and appears to be very sturdy. I just secured them in place inside the module with two sided mounting tape for appearance and neatly keeping the wires in place. As far as performance is concerned, I think for light duty repairs, these are going to have a permanent home in my electrical repair kits. And they give the appearance of professional work. The reason for 4 stars is because of the poor quality of the parts box they arrived in. As the photo shows, it was cracked and busted somewhere in the delivery process and now I’m going to have to spend a few bucks on a new parts box with dividers.
