I wanted these because they are individually wrapped (sets of 2) so I won't lose them and know they are clean. They work well and are comfortable to wear for long periods.

Not much more to say than these do just as good a job as name brands, and are comfortable to wear. Would recommend.

Recently shared a stateroom on a cruise with my mom...and I snore loudly. Got these for me and for my mom. She didn't hear me snore at all! And I love they are individually wrapped in sets of 2.

I've used earplugs on and off ever since I worked graveyards and needed to be able to sleep during the day. I'm now retired, but occasionally will still use them. The box I had were getting a little old, and these were such a good price, I thought it was time to replace them. Several people complained they were too big, but I don't have small ears and thought they would be okay. The way they are supposed to work is you roll them or squeeze them into a thinner, stiffer tube, which you can then insert in your ear canal. If you pull the top or back of your ear to open the ear canal up a bit it makes it easier. Once the plug is in the ear, the warmth of your body encourages the spongy material to expand back to its original shape. This makes a snug fit and shuts out sound. If you don't put the rolled up plug in your ear, it will still return to its original shape, but more slowly, since it's cooler. The major problem with these earplugs is, they don't stay small long enough. After you roll them, they immediately expand back to full size, making it impossible to insert them. You might just as well not have rolled them up at all. That may explain why several people said they were too big.Knowing warmth played a part in expanding the plugs, I tried keeping them in the freezer until I needed to insert them. I knew I didn't have much time, but this slowed the expansion down enough, the plugs stayed small a little longer and I was able to insert them and make a good seal. The plugs don't freeze and there's no water in them, so they don't feel particularly cold. They are just a bit firmer than when they are room temperature, and this slows the expansion down a bit. They still do not perform as efficiently as previous brands I have tried, but the price and the individual packaging are enough of a plus I will continue to use them.

These work really well. They are individually wrapped, so easy to share or put in a pocket. They are a tad long for my ears, but I trim them with scissors. When I run out I will reorder.

These are very simple devices. They just need to be rolled between your fingers to compress them to fit into your ear. Once in place, they expand to block sound. I find them effective, but also find they tend to slip out of my ears when I am sleeping. Still, I recommend them -- particularly if you will use them for times when not sleeping.

I purchased these earplugs for our retreat bags. They are good ear plug that you are only going to use a couple of times. They are soft and pliable. They work well to muffle the noise. These are ear plugs I would not use more than a weekend or week.

I am a motorcyclist who rides most every day. I have done so for over 50 years. I attribute the fact that I still have normal hearing to have worn ear plugs for all that time. No matter how good one's helmet is, high intensity wind noise will eventually damage hearing unless one uses proper ear protection. I have used many types and styles of ear plugs over the years, and found that what I need is at least a 32 db NRR rating and a plug big enough to completely fill my ear canal in my case a plug that is in the 1in by 1/2in size range, and preferably soft enough to remain comfortable all day. These are tapered for easy insertion, but still fit that size range. I have learned that all ear plugs are not the same. These plugs work really well for me. The are not expensive, they are the right size to completely fill my ear canal when expanded after rolling them for insertion, they are really soft so as to remain comfortable in my ears for all day use, and are reusable if I have to remove them during the day. For my use they are very good. in terms of noise cancelation, they work as well as any I have used, including some that were more expensive. I can recommend them for this use or any less intense use as well.
