Your child’s teacher will be so happy if you buy these. Yes they may be a little more expensive than the off brand but they are the best. As a teacher I can tell you there truly is a difference. They are easier to sharpen and to erase. They don’t leave a pink mark on your paper when erasing. Worth every penny.

I love Ticonderoga pencils. All the others brands break more often. These Ticonderoga pencils are the best! Teachers love them. They have less breakage when used by my kids and others and less breakage when they are being sharpened! They last forever. They are worth the investment. You will never want to use other inferior pencils after the perfection that is these pencils. Ask any teacher or a parent who is now home distance teaching their children. Don't settle for any thing less than the most wonderful pencils available. They are awesome.

The lead is solid and doesn’t break easily while sharpening. Lasts longer than cheaper pencils. I’m a firm believer these are worth the extra money. My children don’t go through these as quickly. There are few items that so clearly stand out in their category as a superior product and yet are so seemingly simple. It's ‘just’ a pencil but it always sharpens easily, the lead is robust while always writing smoothly and perhaps this pencil’s most obvious superiority is the eraser which works elegantly and actually doesn’t appear to degrade over years if it happens to hide in the back of a drawer.This isn’t just “The world's best pencil”. Of the pencils we are most likely to find in our stores, I consider it the world's best general-purpose writing pencil by a long shot. Five stars really doesn’t do this product justice.

These are the best pencils. They last way longer than other big name pencils and they don’t break very easily. I am a teacher, so pencils that are constantly breaking can drive you nuts, especially when you have to listen to the pencil sharpener go all day long.

By trade I am a carpenter, these pencils are the ones I like the best for work. They have a long life, the lead is firm and strong and I like the color as it stands out should I drop it. I now have about 500 of them and feel compelled to order more. :)
