We are so glad we waited to the baby shower to give our little guy his gift. He was enamored with it. Put on the cape and mask immediately. Took his superpower position and started running around the house. He loved the attention. This is a big deal as he usually shies away from strangers. It was worth every penny just to see his reaction. Would buy again. We are looking forward to reading the book with him many times over. Best big brother gift ever!

I wasn't sure what to think of this until it arrived. It's actually great quality! My son loves the cape and the mask and wears them around all the time or brings them to daycare for dress-up day. The book was a hit too; he's asked to read it a few times since we got it. Overall, a great purchase!!

I bought this for my granddaughter to open at the baby shower for her soon to be sibling so that she knows what a great big sister she will be. It came in a really nice box with a ribbon handle and Velcro closure. The mask and cape seem good quality. I almost love everything about the book EXCEPT that the big brother lists that the new baby will drink from a bottle a lot. But it seems like most babies in my circles are breastfed these days. So I feel like my 3 year old will be confused by this bit. There are also some great ideas of things big brothers can teach little siblings but that my kiddo doesn’t know how to do yet - like reading and some games. So I almost wish there could be a little more focus on what can be done now rather than what can be done as the baby gets bigger. There is a page or two that clarifies that in the beginning the baby will just lay around and that’s okay. But I would have put some ideas like “I can try to make you smile and laugh, bring you soft toys, or help you when you drop things.” Those are all great big brother tips for those early months, I think. Over all I do like this a lot and think my kiddo will love it. We’re waiting to make sure there are no complications this time before giving this gift to him. We lost our last baby during the neonatal period and don’t want to introduce the idea of a new baby too early.

I loved this set! I bought two for my nieces who were going to become big sisters soon. They loved the little crown and the dolly first thing! The book was truly a bonus and will help them both navigate the world of having a new younger sibling. The only problem is that one Niece is blonde and one is brunette. The only choice is a doll with blonde hair…I wish they made a set for little girls with dark hair. Otherwise they are perfect.

This is an absolutely adorable gift for the big brother, superhero, in your life. My son, 3 yrs old, is a huge fan of all "cap" heroes and this was a perfect way to further introduce him to his younger brother. The storybook was nicely written and not too long. The pictures helped my son relate to how his "super powers" will be useful as an older brother. It's not an item he will outgrow and definitely something I can continue to use for years to come. The quality of the product was great, as well. The package was nicely done and presentable. The clear plastic packaging is durable enough to ensure keepsake. I recommend this to any parent looking for a kid-friendly product to help welcome a new baby into the family while ensuring that your child doesn't feel left out.
