I had to get this when I saw it was hand made. There was a video that showed someone making it. I'm not sure if this is actually true, but it was to my surprise that it looks really good. Something like what your might find at a local artist stand somewhere abroad. It's also well packaged for a gift. Oh, and I won't forget about the sound it makes. Hard to describe, just impressive. Something you need to hear to appreciate. However, some may find it annoying if you play it over and over like my kids. We love it.

Love these Tingsha bells. They have a nice resident sound and are very reasonably priced.

I like these flat, hand made brass bells a lot! They’re better quality than I expected. Made of heavy brass, with Buddhist designs in the mold, they have a beautiful, high pitched (but not annoying) ring tone. The tone has good richness and depth, because the brass is heavy and thick; it’s not tinny or buzzy sounding. The zippered red case is adorned with gold thread Nepalese designs and has an open circular window on top, so while it protects the bells, it’s not water-proof or a tight seal. It’s easy to ring the bells together using the provided leather strip that connects the two bells.I recommend these strongly because I believe they’re real brass, they are hand-made from Nepal, and they have a very pleasing tone and ring well. Quite affordable price, too. I took a bunch of photos so you can see up close. I wouldn’t do that if it was a lousy item. Excellent!

These cymbals are amazing! They're so easy to use. I've been using them right before mediating and I am loving them! Not only are they incredibly well made and crafted but, they sound heavenly. The cymbals feel heavy duty and impeccably crafted. Upon unboxing it's easy to see the love and care that went into to crafting these cymbals. It's really nice that there's a perfectly fitted little storage case for holding these cymbals when they're not being used. My singular complaint would have to be that the zipper will occasionally catch when putting them away but, other than that this cymbal set is a real mediation treat. I'm so happy with this cymbal set and would whole heartedly recommend this cymbal set to anyone who appreciates and practices meditation (or even reiki). This is a phenomenal addition to my mediation practices. They're easier to use than singing bowls and sound just as lovely! I couldn't recommend this cymbal set more!

Early on in my Yoga experience; my teachers would use these to gently bring us back from relaxing in savasana at the end of our Yoga practice. It was many years later when I was in Yoga Teacher Training that our Guru told us more about Tingshas; and to beware of cheap imitations. I have wanted to include these in my classes; but it's not like I could make a trip to Tibet, or Nepal to test them out before buying them. So, I was delighted to find this set was one offered to me through the Amazon Vine program. This set is cast with of the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra; which I am familiar with, and have used in my classes. And, the interior has Buddhist symbol for Om repeated 3 times. It takes some practice to make the clear resonate tones last; but when you do they are clear and soothing.I did research while waiting for mine to arrive; and found out that each Tingsha has a unique frequency. Which means trying to compare them is an apple to orange experience for every person. The Tingsha Gurus say there is a tone that aligns with each of the Chakras, and that you should have more than one set depending on the setting they are being used in. I think that would require a trip to Nepal to get right.I used this set today for my students in two classes; and they expressed their appreciation for this added experience to their meditation. The Om Mani Padme Hum mantra:OM - Purifies the bodyMA - Purify the wordNI - Purify the mindPAD - Purifies EmotionsME - Purifies the latent conditionsHUM - Cleanses the veil that covers knowledge
