I bought this bowl for my son after having bought one for myself. I absolutely loved the way mine sounded and how soothing it is. My son received his and when he began using it I thought it sounded very high pitched. We compared the two bowls and sure enough it did in fact have a higher pitch.Now because they are ALL different I I didn’t expect they would sound alike. I also didnt expect that the second bowl would sound so shrill to me. The second bowl definitely didn’t bring me to a peaceful state the way the first bowl did. I was going to send it back for a replacement when my son let me know that he LOVED the way it sounded and since it was his he didn’t want it replaced. Ok, no problem, all good.Well wouldn’t you know a Representative of the company reached out to me via email to ask about my purchase. I matched the purchase order number referenced to the second bowl. I was all set to say it was beautiful and everything was fine but I actually had to be honest with her. I explained that the bowl was a purchase for my son after ordering one for myself and while I didn’t particularly like the sound of it, HE did. Listen...when I tell you this Company has the Best Customer Service EVER I am in NO WAY understating that!! The email responses were immediate and I was sent a replacement bowl ‘at no charge’ even though I explained that it was simply MY opinion and the recipient of the bowl was quite happy with it. It didn’t matter to the Company. What mattered to them was that I felt satisfied. I couldn’t believe they went to such trouble to make me feel as though I had gotten what I paid for. (Peaceful singing bowl). The replacement one is the same beautiful high quality product and it does have a beautiful peaceful sound to me. They all three have a different pitch to them and I’m still not crazy about the one I gave my son but he loves it and I love mine. This Company is fantastic. The bowls are high quality and so very beautiful. I will definitely order products from this company again and again. I am truly satisfied as a Customer. The quality is great and the Company is amazing. Thank you Silent Mind for being so awesome and taking my comments seriously.

Wow! What a beautiful singing bowl set! I am SO HAPPY! The bowl is so unique as it is hammered, which is the original way of making the singing bowls. Each bowl has a very unique one of a kind look to it. Each bowl will be different, as they are all handmade. The pillow (which was found wrapped up inside of the bowl, if you don't see it right away) is so very beautiful and it is very well made and with nice material. The pillow is nice for displaying your bowl and for putting your bowl on the pillow as you play it it; or you can play the bowl in the palm of your hand, just making sure that your palm is flat and do not let your fingers touch around the bowl as it will mute and distort the sound. The mallet is made of nice and very sturdy wood, it has the the felted end for the "tapping" of the top edge of the bowl (felted as to not harm the bowl when tapping) and the other end is a wider continuation of the wood (for going around the he rim to make the bowl sing). It is a nice size as it fits nicely in the palm of the hand. It has such a beautiful, harmonious and enticing sound quality and it really works. When I am using the bowl, without the pillow, I can feel the vibrations from the bowl. When I am using the bowl, I use the "tapping" to get others attention, to signal a start, or a change of session and an end to a session. I use the "singing" of the bowl for mindfulness, meditation and harmonious vibrational energy. This would also be a great purchase for yoga, meditation, self awareness time and more. I am so very happy with my purchase. I highly reccomend this bowl!! I look forward to using it for many, many years to come! Silent mind also has a great customer service as they sent me an email first and foremost making sure that I knew my bowl was on the way. I then received another email making sure that I did in fact receive my bowl and making sure that I was happy with my purchase. They are concerned on making you happy, I really liked that and made me feel special. In the email they sent me it included an attachment with information on how to use the bowl, how to take care of the bowl, the many uses for it, the intentions behind it , the history behind the bowl, gives you tips on uses and much more. I really appreciated their customer service and me not feeling like I am just another "sell" for them. I am SO very happy with my purchase. I encourage anyone who has been wanting one of these singing bowls to try silent minds bowls out, you will not be disappointed. Happy happy customer!!! :)

Selon le modèle, ces bols sont plus ou moins faciles à faire vibrer. Les modèles sur coussins ronds, au prix plus abordable, et de fabrication plus régulière, chantent plus facilement, si tant est est que l'on a assimilé le geste. Comparé à d'autres, plus légers, de fabrication industrielle et avec une sonorité aiguë qui peut être moins agréable, c'est peut être un peu plus difficile, mais le son peut être produit avec plus de puissance et de profondeur.Le geste doit être suffisamment lent, avec une pression régulière, plus ou moins forte. On peut ainsi moduler la musicalité par la vitesse et la pression. Ils se distinguent de modèles concurrents par une meilleure prise en main. Il faut former un creux avec la paume pour parvenir à l'immobiliser suffisamment en équilibrant la pression du mouvement. Ne pas hésiter, en cas de mains sèches, à rendre la peau plus souple et moins glissante. Le massage des mains avec une crème ou une huile douce peut aussi être l'occasion de se détendre les mains et d'en prendre soin, ce qui s'accorde bien avec un moment de pratique.Le modèle martelé à la main est plus difficile et demande plus de patience et de réceptivité pour ressentir le mouvement et parvenir à une vibration sonore régulière et persistante. Chaque exemplaire est artisanal et unique, avec des masses et des dimensions pouvant légèrement varier d'un exemplaire à l'autre. Afin d'éviter une déception, je conseille ce modèle si l'on a déjà une certaine pratique avec un modèle plus "accessible".Au total, j'en ai acquis 5 dans les trois modèles proposés, tous lors de ventes flash entre décembre et fin février. J'en ai offert 3. J'ai gardé les deux autres pour moi, deux du modèle réalisé à la main, dont un, suite à un défaut, m'a été remplacé gracieusement et sans délai par le vendeur, avec une attention commerciale et une écoute très attentive, personnalisée et agréable malgré le frein de la langue.J'ai encore à explorer la manipulation de ces bols. Avec un autre très simple en bronze qui m'a été offert, plus grand et avec une sonorité plus grave, j'ai le choix selon mon ressenti du moment. Ces bols peuvent être considérés comme des instruments de musique, dans le sens ou le son évolue en variant le geste. Mais c'est aussi un moment de "déconnexion" de la pensée et de concentration qui m'apporte personnellement un "lâcher-prise" bien agréable.Bonne pratique pour ceux qui feront ce choix.PS: En ayant lu d'autres commentaires, j'ajoute que le mouvement se fait sur le pourtour extérieur, c'est plus simple pour produire la vibration.
