This is a good, lightweight carbon fiber shaft paddle for SUP. I have some AquaBound paddles and this measures up pretty well. The only grip is that I had to use a little electrical tape at the T-handle because the bond wobbled ever so slightly. But I have had this happen on more expensive equipment..no biggie. I will probably grab another if I see it on sale.

Very good quality and very light. Cost is high but you pay for quality and quality is what you get.

This paddle is a major upgrade from the kit paddles for most SUPs. The carbon fiber shaft is very light and stiff. And the nylon & carbon paddle grabs the water nicely. It feels solid in the hands and adjusts easily.I especially like the option to convert to a kayak paddle. The middle section of the paddle has both pin lock & clamps on BOTH ends. To convert it to a kayak paddle, you simply purchase a second paddle, replace the handle with it, and the pins click in on both sides. This keeps everything very secure & ensures the paddles are aligned properly. It’s brilliant and I really like this design.

Received box partially open and found missing 2 items out of three parts to make one. Not happy about it. I want a replacement.

Description says 3 piece. Only comes with one blade side. No handle side for SUP. For $70, should have all 3 pieces.

I live down in the caribbean for work and picked up a Thurso ISUP this year to bring down with me. I was not sure how quickly I would adjust on an inflatable board in the open ocean. SO, I got this extra paddle head in case I ever find myself in current or wind too strong to stay standing. A quick conversion over and I can sit and kayak paddle out. So far, it has been lovely. I take it out with me if I think I will be heading into bigger water, or leave at home if I am just planning to paddle around on a less windy day or in a less exposed area. This conversion paddle was actually a big selling point for the board in general; and so far I am extremely happy with everything the board and paddle offer.

The blade is a bit flexy but looks like it can take a beating. The shaft is a bit flexy but not too bad. The heat shrink at the handle is thick and rubs your hand every time you switch sides and slide your hand up the shaft, The t handle is cheesy plastic. Decent lightish paddle for the money.
