Je n'ai pas eu la chance de la tester è mon goût car la glace avait disparue et j'ai fouillé presque partout pour localiser l'achat des 2 lames tranchante de 4 pouces de cette tarière thunderhead et je n'ai arrivé à mes fins.

Works good no real complaints drills hole with ease BUT the photo shows the handle is able to just swing up with ease and that is not the case it's a totally different system it's not a big deal but I really wanted what the picture showed

The handle is two pieces connected by a bracket that swivels some. One piece has the adjustable wing but holes to change the height and the other has the handle. The handles do not swivel enough to connect vertically. The bracket has a machine screw sticking out of the center that had a wing nut. I have no idea why. The handle has two grips, one to twist and one to hold while you twist the auger, not sure why it has this when it can’t stand vertical to allow it to work as an auger that twists in that way. . . Certainly doesn’t match the picture and I can’t figure out how the review picture is set up. No instructions so maybe it’s me, but I’m the third reviewer who has mentioned this isn’t right. To make this work, you basically detach the two pieces that swivel and just put the one end in as a regular auger handle and use the other piece as a paper weight

My second review.I cannot say enough how great this auger is. I pulled 2 nice Pike out and one 26" and one 22" Lake Trout out of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. I was worried about the 4" size hole but had no problems. Once the fish tires out they nose up and swim up the hole. Super fast and easy cutting. Love this auger!!

Great product. I’ve used it last year and love it. Looks like it’s 4.5in and not 4in like they describe.
