Me salvó de tener que deshacerme de la silla Thule Ridealong lite. Tengo una bicicleta trek Marlin 6 rodado 29 que viene con el con el caño del cuadro en diagonal en vez de recto como solían ser las mountain bikes anteriores. Eso provocó que la colocación del soporte quede más abajo haciendo que el asiento rozara con las vibraciones de la calle la rueda. Este soporte logró que el asiento quede más elevado de la cubierta y que el asiento pueda desplazarse para atrás alejando los pies de mi hijo de mi asiento y permitiéndome pedalear mejor. No entiendo porque Thule no te vende este soporte desde el principio con la silla.

I purchased the Thule Ride Along child seat to use with my GT Aggressor Pro (Medium) mountain bike with 27.5 wheels. The original mounting bracket resulted in the child seat rubbing on the back tire even on smooth paths and without hitting a bump. This is due to the way the bike is built rather than the saddle being too low. For reference, my child is 19 months old and weighs 26.5 pounds.This adapter has provided an additional three inches above the back tire, which provide adequate spacing between the child seat and the back tire. Now we can use it without any rubbing even over bumps.On a separate note, Thule should allow customers to choose the mounting bracket that comes with the child seat. This would be reasonable given that you're already paying top-dollar for the child seat.

Perfecto para mi bici ya que la silla tocaba casi en la rueda trasera con este acople aumenta mucho la distancia entre rueda silla.

After being very excited buying a new bike I was keen to attach my Thule ride along child seat, unfortunately the seat rested on the wheel due to the large wheels and shape of the frame.I did a lot of research and struggled to find a solution and there’s no other suitable child seats out there, also I didn’t want to part with my Thule ride along.I saw someone else had tried this attachment to fix a similar issue and it works a dream!!!My bike is a trek marlin 6 2022 model whereby the frame is much more unisex so doesn’t give a lot of option to attach the bike seat to the frame. This attachment has resolved it and happiness has restored in my house.I’m very surprised this isn’t being advertised by Thule that it’s also suitable for 29er wheel bikes, rather than just low saddle issues. Mi think they’d sell many more, thanks to Amazon for this review service it enables me to find the product I needed.

Bought this to fit a 29” specialized hardtail. The standard seat didn’t clear. Works great and has plenty of clearance now.

I purchased this to upgrade me standard Thule bike seat. as my children grew, when riding over bumps or turns, the seat would hit or rub the rear wheel. This fixed that problem. my 2 year old 28lbs is great, and my 5 year old 40-45lbs also can ride again! it is pricey, and should be an option when buying the seat set.

I was really weary about buying this adapter because on the Thule website, it is so hard to find information on what seat/adapter fits what. So when my Thule RideAlong lite was too low, I ordered this and it fit like a charm. I didn't realize at first you need to remove the black plastic piece for the Lite version, but after a minute, of it not fitting right, I realized it. I wish Thule would do a better job in regards to their instructions and information, but other than that, it worked perfectly. Seller shipped it quickly, as it estimated to be delivered between 3/31-4/2 and it arrived 3/26!Can't wait to take my daughter out later on!

Purchased this to add height to my Thule Ridealong and it works great. The mounting of the cables for my Gary Fisher Marlin made attaching the frame lock too low, such that the seat rubbed on my back tire every time I hit a bump. This adapter gave me an extra 3 inches to work with and I took the kid out without any issues. Although I think this part should have been included with the original seat package, it is a great solution for anyone needing extra height for their Ridealong seat.

This thing works great, I was having trouble finding a kids seat that would fit my bike (Diamondback Overdrive 29er) because of the low seat tube. The Thule ridealing mini seemed like it fit all my needs except for the stock bar it came with. With this low saddle adapter you can see that now I have enough clearance to ride with my daughter in tow. I have added some pictures of the back of the mechanism as well because no one has posted it and hopefully it will help you decide if it will fit your bike.

The low seat adapter only adds about 3 inches of clearance from tire to base of the seat. When i go over bumps the seat still hits the tire on my electra cruiser.

While we could fit both the on our bike. With the shorter adapter, it was quite a tight fit against our saddle seat so we upgraded to the newer , which comes with a longer adapter but that still wasn't right.I'm not sure why this low saddle adapter has such terrible reviews. It works really well with our tricycle. The child seat sits up a little bit higher than before but the angle of the low saddle adapter makes it easier to install and gives my son more space for his legs. Because the child seat is a little higher, we have the use of the basket between the back wheels.

I have a Schwinn 700c women's bike, and I was using the bracket it came with. Buying this low saddle bracket was definitely worth the buy. I wasn't sure if I needed it, but I bought it anyway. I am glad I did! My son's seat was really close to mine, and this helps put it in a better position. My main issue is that it seems a bit crooked. It kind of threw the whole seat off a bit. I'm hoping it reshapes as we use it.
