This comforter is everything you are hoping it will be.We purchased the "Palatial King" - When the bed is made, the normal king comforter always felt and looked short on the sides. The palatial king is perfect - 7" longer on each side.After unboxing and giving the comforter time to open up, it transformed into such a comfortable and fluffy duvet. It's such an improvement on "down alternative". It keeps us exceptionally warm - warmer than I need.The "noise" that I've read other reviewers complain about, is the sound of quality. That sound comes with all down comforters.If you're in the market for a real quality duvet at a fair price - this is it.

I actually could not wait to review this comforter, I absolutely love this thing ! Great price, delivered early. For once I got something that actually looks like the ad photo, it's a nice looking comforter, I could not wait for bedtime to enjoy this comforter, and I was not disappointed, I like a puffy, (slightly) weighted comforter, and this one is spot on. I had a really good night's sleep the very first night. (have had it now for 4 nights) Not too hot, not too cold...just right. I read a review of someone saying it makes an annoying crinkling sound when moving about, like a "potato chip bag", I know what this reviewer is talking about, and I can see that some folks may not like this aspect, but all I can say is, my opinion is that it's slightly less louder than a chip bag, and for me it doesn't bother me in the least bit, I kinda like the crinkling sound, it doesn't prevent me from getting a good night sleep at all. Also one reviewer mentioned the weight of this comforter, I myself don't find it to be "heavy" at all, it is slightly heavier than my previous comforter, but I was actually hoping for (more) of a weighted comforter, not a deal breaker, still love it. All in all, I really like this comforter, would definitely recommend it to family and friends and really glad it held up to my expectations to be able to give it a positive review.

I'm writing this review from under my new duvet, and let me tell you - I could not be happier. Those who complain of the "noise" when reviewing goose down duvets make me laugh. If you want absolute silence, then you dont want a true goose down duvet and should stick to a fake alternative. The subtle ruffle of this duvet signifies it's premium, luxurious quality. It arrived in a vacuum sealed bag as is standard with these types of comforters. However, within a mere handful of hours, it had puffed up to a billowy, heavenly cloud of comfort. The pictures posted don't quite do it justice as they seem to show it's flat-ness straight out of the bag. All you need to do is shake it out a few times and leave it to expand, and you will be sleeping under it's weightless warmth in no time. I tend to sleep hot, but this duvet is the PERFECT level of warmth. My husband is the same way and with our last duvet, he would have kicked the blankets off several times by this hour until they're mangled into heap on the floor as he tosses and turns so much. Tonight however, he has not moved whatsoever and the blankets remain as in tact as when I made the bed. We are both insanely comfortable. It also features 8 tabs for securing a cover so you will never have to worry about it frustratingly shifting inside. After spending literally weeks comparing goose down duvets for quality, good reviews, the perfect fill weights, fill material, on and on and on (enthusiasts will surely understand the struggle), I am ECSTATIC with my choice. Buy this duvet - you will not be dissapointed!!!

I did my research to find a thick, fluffy, duvet that's not too hot, and this ticks all the boxes! Amazingly light and a good 5 inches of fluffy down goodness. Best bed purchase, ever!
