This little $10 buy saved me $60. I have a 20 ft. telescoping bar that I use for many different tasks around my house. I used it two weeks ago and the tip broke while I was applying stripping compound on my concrete slab in the backyard. That pole costs $49.99 at Home Depot, Lowe’s and here on Amazon and my wife broke a broom that costs $15 here on Amazon. I purchased these and was able to fix both with my drill, Phillips head screw driver and a crescent wrench in less than 10 minutes. I ordered 4 more just in case something else breaks like the backyard push room. Great product I completely recommend this to anyone that wants to save a little cash.

I have two extending wash brushes for RV's and both at one point fell over, breaking off the plastic screw-on tip. Simply tapped on the replacement (a bit of an interference fit - which is good) and put a locking screw in. Safed me a ton of money - thanks!

I needed a way to screw a threaded hook onto an extension pruning pole. I whittled out a short wood piece that would insert into the end of the pole, and then glued the new metal thread on the wood piece with epoxy resin.The shape of the new threads is fine, and it's light weight, but I'm suspicious that it's a bit on the thin side. Time will tell whether the fitting holds up or breaks.

Update 3/28/24: I was asked this question so I took a few pics to help the person out. Hope this helpsI broke my threaded piece on my pole and was very sad because I have had this fiberglass pole for 20 years. I saw these and decided to give them a try. Worked great. Drilled a hole from both sides and the long bolt went right through and tightened the nut with washers on both side and its like its better than new now.
