Verify the ID (inner diameter) of the pole end. The description on the item states: for 1" pole and further checking this item ID is only 0.98". So, this item did not fit my extension pole.

These broom stick replacement ends are cast zinc and are okay for a kitchen broomstick. They are not exceptionally strong not strong enough to handle a push broom in the yard for more than a few minutes.

I used digital calipers to measure a tip that broke off a good extension pole and make sure to check the listed inside measurements which was the exact same.When I went to put it on it didn’t just slip on as it should have. When I got my calipers to measure there was some varying sizes which were small but small enough to make it much harder to get on that it should have.With some sanding and smoothing inside and brute force it went on and even though I planned to rivet it, I probably didn’t need too.I hope this doesn’t break else I’ll be cutting it off for sure! Rather tight then loose!
