These worked well for travel with a threaded barrel when a can would be on during a ideal situation.

They are a bit bulky, but @ the end of the day, they DO protect the threads, & they are the right depth.

I’ve purchased these in 1/2x28 and 5/8x24 a few times. Never had any issues with them. Threads on perfectly. I keep a few for spares in case I misplace one or two. Highly recommend these.
