Overall not sturdy at all. Used on a power steering pump and struggled through the end of the project. Item stripped and despite all efforts, would not grip the pulley without slipping.Fortunately it got me through to the end, but I highly doubt it will work for another pulley in the future.

Very disappointed with this product, had to make shims for this to function properly. Guess it is ok for one use. Would not purchase again.

I purchased this kit , for the installation tools in it . If you have to use the puller . I suggest that you find a heavy steel pipe and make you a better sleeve for it .

The ring that holds the 2piece puller is not strong enough.

Mine did it's job but I made a small modification. There is a sliding color that holds the two halves together while you turn the screw to pull the pully off. I scraped the collar and used two house clams to hold the halves together and had success pulling my pulleys

Inside of center screw not threaded, so using this tool to install a pulley is physically impossible. Buy the 80$ one instead so you don't have to scream swear words after buying this junk.

only dinging 1 star for lack of clear instructions, but it seems to be well built and worked well for installing a pulley on a steering pump. price is great as well
