The 2 different A's are very different in brightness. The "experience" being the brighter. It may not be fair to say that, different instruments react in different ways. You should , no pun intended, experiment with them on your cello. I love these strings on all my cellos. Much more sensitive and ringing, with their own kind of gritty warmth.
