We hot this as we needed a center storage, but this also has charging ports but unfortunately they are on top and no place to put your phone or remote on. You won't use storage as your constantly putting a book or tablet on it. We just store our extra charging cords in it. We don't use the charging ports because we bought the plug in phone chargers that plug into the chair round socket.

I found two recliners in this series from another source at a really good price. We decided we wanted the center console piece. This worked out great. It fit perfectly. It was easy to install. It made the recliners far more comfortable to sit in. The storage compartment is plenty big enough for my MacBook, phones, kindle, etc. Having the charging ports was a nice, too.

Bought the set. They are nice but wish I had went with a different color or material. We have to be very careful with our dogs to not tear the material
