Our son is obsessed with Percy and this has proven to be a special needs toddler proof toy. Can't count the number of times we've changed the batteries (he likes the motor and likes to run 24/7), but it's survived several months and still working. While it could easily be a collector piece, this has served an enthusiastic boy well as a toy and companion- just as it should.

My nephew was looking for a new Percy train and when he saw this one all bright and shiny he was excited. This toy did not disappoint him at all. He loves to play Thomas and friends with this new train.

When we saw Amazon had the metallic Percy train, we knew we had to get it. After reading some of the reviews saying they didn't receive the metallic version I was skeptical but went ahead because my son is in love with Thomas trains. I trusted that because it was SOLD and SHIPPED by Amazon we would get the right train. WE DID! And yes there's a book too! Yay! About the same price as his other Thomas trains($20) and same quality!
