My kids loved this toy. It is very sophisticated and added to the theme of their playroom. It was something I originally wanted for decoration, but has held up well to repeated play and use. I love the level of detail in the design and how much it resembles the original program character.

This is an addition to my toddler's track (she already had Thomas and James). It's shiny red, works well with the rest of the track and runs on two batteries. Like most other in the category it is very well built and very sturdy. No matter how many times my toddler throws these on our ceramic tiles, nothing happens to them.The only problem I have with these is the price tag, I rarely take a star away because of the price, unless it seems very unreasonable and this is one of those rare cases.

My toddler doesn't watch Thomas the Tank Engine, but he has almost all the trains and an ever expanding set of train tracks which he adores. Nia was one that he did not have in his set, and since orange is his favorite color, it made sense that this should be his Christmas train. Nia is more of a copper color, but to him it was orange enough and she was a hit. He loved everything about it - it works and fits just like the other engines, but she is the shiniest, orangey-est, and most spectacular train on the tracks and he couldn't get enough of her. Our other trains didn't come with story books, so this was an added bonus because since he had never been interested in the show, he had just made up his own personalities for every train. He was enamored with her story and loved incorporating it into his pretend play. Very happy with this little gift set!

My kid loves these trains he’s a train addict we have about 30 now and collect them we get them wet drop them from high distances and they last never broke one and the hook with this one he made me read 10 times so far so it’s a good deal it’s pretty too with the shiny finish
