I got tired of constantly changing batteries, which aren't cheap and bad for the environment. This is basic, does the job well and it seems well constructed.

This scale is too light to step onto without it flipping to one side. The 1st time I did so it flipped to the left causing me to go to urgent care for x-rays & treatment. Scale is also not slip proof on smooth surfaces. Another hazard!

Scale works and seems to be accurate but given the variation in shadings of the numerals hard to read ..especially if there is any glade for a light source.

So many products are built to impress but not to last. Last digital scale was good for 2 years. Going old-school from now on. Good looking, easy to read, and seems quite accurate. When the misses is happy, we all are.

I’ve had 3 digital scales over the past 10 years and they just don’t seem to last. I started using the doctor’s office type that we have at work until I retired and needed another at home. Decided to go back to the old fashioned non-digital kind and I love it. Nice larger size but stores in-end in the corner of my bathroom and seems to be very accurate.

This is very hard foe me to see because I use reading glasses now but even if I weren’t the increments are done by 10 lbs which suck. It should’ve been by 5pds. But it is much more accurate than a digital scale

This is a nice heavy scale. Some of the numbers are greyed out when the rest of the font is black so it makes it a little difficult to read but that's what you get when you don't get a digital scale. The grip pad is already peeling and I've only had this scale for less than a month and used it a handful of times. Quality is eh.
