The feeling and action of this line feels pretty good, and so far no problem with casting and retrieving it. It is good value for the amount of line you get compared to in store ones. Not sure about the rating accuracy of 20lbs, but it feels and catches fish pretty well haha

This is very nice braided fishing line. I use it on my surf reel and have had no issues. The green works fine in the Pacific. I haven't seen any fraying as well so it's held up great.

I have been using braided fishing line the last few years on most of my poles and while I usually stick with the name brands I figured I would give this a shot. I use 30# test strength on pretty much every rod and went this the 30#x328yd. At 300yds, I can spool up two 3000 series reels so that saves more than half right there as most of the spools of name brand cost $20 for only 150yds. Putting it on the reel it seems to be similar to other braids that I have used and have no reason to think that this won't be just as good as other brands.

I got this for trout fishing specifically. I'm in a heavily, heavily, heavily pressured urban area and used this on a Pfluger president 30 reel and on my wife's okuma ceymar. We used it on okuma celilo rods (of varying lengths). I thought the braid performed fine. When it got caught in a bush, it allowed me to pull it out without breaking -- which I was elated about after a horrible cast. I'm not a big fan of the rougher, 4 strand feel -- I prefer smoother feeling 8x braid -- but it didn't make too big a difference on my spinning reels. We were bombing some small (1/4 oz and smaller) panther martins and rooster tails. I have this setup on an ultra light and use 8x j-briad on my other setups.My only gripe is when I have to re-tie this braid as it's so thin and I guess I don't have the muscle memory to do it quickly with such a light line.For the most part, I think I'll stick to 6lb or 8lb braid and only use this for when fishing gin-clear waters for those ultra line shy trout.

To make it very clear - I haven't fished with this line yet as most of my fishing is done by trolling and its winter time and the boat is away for the season.I am not writing a review based on the manufacturers description but will tell you what I think of it so far. I use braided superline for trolling crankbaits or with dipsey divers. The thin diameter allows baits and the dipseys to reach deeper depths rather than conventional monofilament and I am able to move up in breaking strength without sacrificing line diameter.I spooled up one of my trolling reels with this line using a monofilament backer. The first thing I noticed was that it spooled on without cutting into itself (which may cause cause tangles or hang ups when reeling or fighting a fish) - make sure that you spool it onto the reel with as much tension as possible. I didn't notice any appreciable diameter difference with my usual Berkley 30lb super line, although the manufacturers specifications for both indicate that this line is slightly smaller in diameter than the Berkleys. The Yumeowl line cut cleanly with braid scissors with no unravelling of the strands. The moss green colour works well for me in the waters of Lake Superior where I fish.So I will be looking at this line in the water in about 5 months and update if I run into issues with it. The number one advantage is that I can purchase 500+ yards of this line for less than I can buy 150 yards of Berkley super line at my local big chain retail store.

Full disclosure-I think it was a mistake ordering this line as I don’t believe it’s for beginners. I think there will be a learning curve in using this type of line as opposed to the clear type of line. I can’t give this a proper, deserving review due to my lack of knowledge regarding this type of fishing line. That said I believe the description of the product to be accurate. It does not stretch and I rubbed it over a rough edge somewhat vigorously to try and simulate a rock and it was fine. My husband snagged it up pretty good trying to load it onto the reel as you can see from the photo. It got really snarled so you need to take care when putting it onto the spool. We do not fish in winter so cannot comment on the actual use but as I said we are beginners and I’m not sure we are the best people to give an accurate review.

Basically no complaints about this braid, nice options for color, and quality of the line is decent, it was strong, fairly but not super smooth, and for me honestly one of the most annoying things is when braided line comes on a spool that is difficult to store, and here they did a fantastic job of including tape and two notches to store the line end after cutting, as well as a plastic jar to store the entire spool in afterwards which for me is a plus as it prevents potential mess and/or line unspooling itself in storage from knocking into things. At $12 for 328 yards, I think this is a pretty decent deal, at least in the #10

I have ordered this braid in the past and, generally, it has performed well. The only significant complaint in the past has been that the diameter for listed strength has seemed a bit heavier than expected. I previously ordered 6# test and the diameter and feel was more like 8# or 10#. This time I looked at the Yumeowl specs chart and noted that the 4# test actually has a breaking strength of 5.95#. Awesome! I ordered a spool and I used it to put a large braid top-shot over the 6# mono on my little size 1000 reel. The thinner four-strand braid makes for extra long casts even with small lures and baits without sacrificing break-strength. The fact that a 328 yard spool only costs $16 is a huge plus. Durability is an unknown at this point, however, all things considered I am giving this line 5 stars at this point.
