Whether targeting a specific rockpile, drop-off, hump or brushpile a long cast from shore or throwing to various pieces of cover or structure from a boat, no other slip float gives you the distance and accuracy you can attain from the Thill Wobble Bobber. This shape and weight also gives the angler another advantage – each wave produces an exaggerated jigging action to the bait or jig below. High visibility orange and chartreuse makes it easy to see at these great distances, and it comes in six sizes for everything from panfishing to walleyes to salmon and steelhead.

Works perfect but the color did fade in the sun.

These bobbers were a disaster, first of all you can’t cast as far as regular bobbers, when you get stuck in weeds it’s hard to tell, the copper pieces on the bobbers fell off so these were a huge waste of money. I went back to regular slip bobbers.

You can cast this thing really far, but I had a hell of a time getting thin braid to go through it without it getting caught on the brass eyelet at the end of the bobber. One of the times it was so frustrating. I actually threw the seven dollar barber into the water because I didn’t want to deal with it again when it is finally on or if you use thicker breed or mono it works nice but I do wonder if a finicky fish or light biting fish would notice the extra pressure from the larger barber and the resistance that it would cause compared to a slimmer thill bobber. I did catch walleye, bass, perch, crappie and gills with this but on some of the smaller or lighter biting i would have to set the hook before it was all the way under or the fish would swallow the hook and or steal your bait. These barbers you have to make sure you are not touching the bottom. If it’s slightly touching, they will still stand up enough and you won’t realize you have a fish on that was more noticeable, when fishing in ponds, or in shallow water, these are very nice when it is windy and create extra action under the water which allows you to do less work and a very little wrist movement will cause that barber to move a ton. You’re used to fishing with a smaller thinner. Barber little waves may trick you to think you’re getting a bite , it took a little bit to get used to. Overall they have a spot in my tackle Box , but they will not replace the original thill balsa bobbers unless it’s windy.

1/4 oz of weight causes it to float exactly at the line. Excellent quality & castability.
