I love these bobbers. Great weight and balance for my use and a really bright light. However, After buying 10 of these in the past 2 seasons for me and a friend. I decided to quit buying them because out of the 10 purchased, I lost 8 of them and the 2 I haven't lost are still new in the pack. I'm not sure if the slit that the line sits in, is not deep enough or if the spring is too weak or both. I tried wrapping the line around it, I tried adjusting the spring. It either comes off when I cast or when I set the hook in a fish. I don't think I'm that ignorant to not know how to use a bobber. But, after buying 10 at 8 bucks a pop, I apparently am!

I use Thill floats/bobbers of all sizes for live bait fishing and they are overall the best made I've used for open water situations , still use balloons around heavy cover though.these lighted bobbers are a terrible design, the small lights are dim and nearly impossible to inset into the cavity with poorly manufactured holes to slip the lights into, and then screwing the cap back is a not easy IN THE DARK ..you would need to fill all the holes up with more purchased lights to even get them bright enough to see at night. returning them and looking for a better option

These work fine and will get the job done. The only issue is when putting the LED into the bobbers themselves, the cutout for the battery isn't the best quality, so expect to bend them a little as you brute force it.

The reason I gave it a 4-star. Because the little slit to put the fishing line through has got so many Jagged edges did it rips the line after a few uses. I did have a problem when it came the light only lasted about an hour not even however they dealt with it very quickly when I mentioned it and are sending me a new one free of charge.

Slip bobber works good day, or night. The light is good, and bright at night. Used for a few hours so far with no dimming. Screw fixture is steady, and secure for light concealment. Great product.

Worked great !! Light was still bright as turned it off even after 5 - 6 hrs of use at night. My only regret is I didn’t have one on my past trips.

This bobber is amazing!! It splits open and you can insert battery lights inside that work all night. I used it once and only one bite on this bobber that night. Its really bright even with one light only so I'm not sure if I scared fish away but surely could see it easier then any other bobber at night.
