Bought this as a gift for my son and as soon as I opened it I could smell that wonderful authentic leather smell! The bag is GREAT and my son absolutely loved it! Great quality and product would definitely order from the again! Might buy another bag for me! 😁

Unlike the canvas bags in this format that are newly-popular, this one never migrated away from its position on my body with thousands of steps in walking on any given day.As much as the zipper placement on the other bags are better, I think this is the one that will look and stand the test of time better.

There really is nothing that compares to that smell of real true leather! I love it! The texture is unbeatable and it will last a life time. This bag is on the smaller side but it's large enough to carry the essentials for a day trip. This would definitely work for either gender. I am super happy with the leather bag. It looks great and is very useful.

Amazing, handsome bag. The leather is clearly so well handled and cared for; it came well-oiled and all of the seams are perfect, sturdy and finished. Great structure and capacity, and I love the hidden pocket (I use it for my wallet because I'm a little ditsy and therefore easy pickins for pick-pockets).I'm a small girl and thought this could possibly be too masculine for me, but it's really not. It's classic and timeless, and looks great on anyoneZippers and straps are usually the most neglected parts of bags, but both on this are great. The length adjustment buckle also doesn't dig into my shoulder which is surprisingly rare. Overall, awesome product.

This bag is just plain cool... I think.It's leather, which is my favorite material. It's style is distinctly masculine, which is my preference. It has plenty of pockets for keeping gear organized. And the sturdy, rugged looking hardware serves as a good compliment to the style.So why only 4 stars?First, almost all the leather panels are either folded over and stitched at the edges, backed with cloth, or both. Is it just to make the bag more "finished"? I measured the leather thickness at the one place a raw edge was left exposed - along the back-facing pocket's zipper: 1.6mm (1/16"). Considerably thinner than the 2.5mm advertised.Second, the shoulder pad is an inch or two too short. If worn cross-body on my back, the plastic strap adjustment buckle would rest over my collarbone. If worn over my chest, the buckle would rest at the top of my shoulder where pressure is the greatest. Adjusting the strap length has no effect on the buckle position. Given the bag size, it's not like there's a lot of weight bearing down, but it's still less than optimally ergonomic.And lastly, I... well, I just can't figure out what to do with it. Remember in the early 2000s when we started referring to conspicuously fashion-conscious straight men as "metrosexuals"? My wardrobe consists almost entirely of dark, solid color V-neck t-shirts, cargo pants/shorts, and Merrell trail shoes. And despite how optimistic I was that this bag would pay off my utilitarian and intentionally fashion-oblivious style, I just can't figure out how to carry it without feeling kinda metro. Y'know?Despite my reservations, though, I DO want you to buy this bag. Maybe YOU'LL figure out how to carry this thing in a way that's in sync with my fragile masculinity.

I gave this to my wife to use and she really likes it. In fact she ran out of stuff to put into it. She loves the zip pockets and there's a great place to put her phone. The strap is adjustable so you can make it as long or as short as you want it
