Available in high or low profiles to fit your specific space requirements. High profile offers taller seating height for maximum comfort. ADA compliant 18-inch seat height. Caution: Do not use stiff brushes or homemade products to clean or lubricate the valve and seal, as these will damage the seals and surfaces, causing odors to escape from holding tanks. Thetford recommends using Aqua-Clean and toilet seal lubricants.

Bought to replace a Dometic 300 series toilet that we didn't love with hopes of fixing the problem we've had with black tank smell. Rather than attempting to replace the seals AGAIN on the old toilet, thought we'd replace it with this Thetford and see if that would help. Several things about the Thetford make it better (for us) than the old Dometic. First, although this one is just the same height as the Dometic, it's a slightly smaller around and fits the space better. Also, there is only one internal seal, at the bowl, whereas the Dometic has two seals inside to fail. Finally, the flush pedal is at the front on the Thetford. The dometic pedal was on the right side, which made it awkward to flush with the limited space in our bathroom. I did have to re-do the water supply line in the RV, as this one connects at the top center, vs the bottom right of the Dometic, but that was a simple job. Once I had extended the supply line, the toilet was super simple with everything we needed (other than a wrench) in the box. No instructions were in the box but there was a QR code to scan if you needed it. Easy DIY project. So far so good, as we let it sit in the heat for 2 days now and there's no tank smell at all.

I have been Rving for about 25 years. Maybe my 4th Thetford?Replaced a V with a VI. Everything matched up perfectly. Bolts the same, holes matched up. Water valve at same height, so, no changes needed. Fittings the same, no Pex changes needed. Sits up a bit higher, a nice throne. Water jet better too, does a better job. No splashes, as others have said. Bigger bowl too. Came with bolts & bottom seal.Issues. No instructions. I did not need them, but they could have had basics, including plumbing requirements.. Also, base could be stronger. It is easy to overtighten; ask me how I know. Not a bad idea to get some washers to go with nuts, spread the torque over a larger area.Price wad goo too, shipping OK.

Light weight and easy to instal. It sits slightly higher than the same model I took out. It lasted 5 years of full time use. I like the taller profile personally. Very nice indeed.

We replaces our rv toilet with a porcelain toilet that was more then double the cost of this one.The porcelain was broke and lets were pricey, bought this one and loved it. Easy to install, comfortable and the flushing water pressure is amazing, has the force of a house toilet. The height is great for my 6’2 husband

I purchased this to replace an older Thetford toilet in my 27' trailer. It's much closer to the size of a residential toilet which is why I wanted to replace my old one. The 16 year old Thetford it replaced still functioned perfectly, I just wanted a bigger toilet.I love the foot flush capability, the increased height and the size of the bowl is much bigger. Well worth the money!

My original (21 yr. old) Thetford Bravura began leaking out onto the floor. It appeared to be an internal seal (not the waste pipe seal) and was too much effort to repair.I bought this model as a replacement because of it's high ratings and good price. It's a little smaller, slightly taller, and does not feel nearly as sturdy, durable, or well-made as the Bravura. The "oval" seat is NOT the same as an elongated seat - it's really almost circular. The seat is rather flimsy. "Flushing power" seems low, but that might be my water pressure. This unit does not include a sprayer attachment. The slo-close seat and lid is about the most pointless "feature" I have ever encountered. All the same, it looks fine, works properly, and doesnt seem likely to collapse. Though I kinda wish I had spent the extra $ for another Bravura model.

There was nothing wrong with the old Dometic it replaced, other than it was old, faded, not soft closing, and low profile. This toilet is taller, wider and it has a soft closing seat. Looks great in the bath, easy install and it came with the necessary seal, new bolts and caps. The bath is now a much improved space with this toilet and the new roof vent I installed at the same time.

My western rv camper is 26 years old but in great shape. It has had the same toilet in it since it was new. I rebuilt the toilet a few years ago n it was a hassle so I got this new one. It fits good and is higher than my old one. The toilet is simpler than my old one and would be easier to fix. No more leaking toilet . It was easy to install , came quick and was a good price

Bought this to replace a 17-year old RV toilet. I did not know what the specific festures of these things were besides the newer ones being higher and having soft-close lids. The main reason i selected this one was the price. Some of the RV toilets I checked out were upwards of $300, which is pretty insane considering i can purchase a residential toilet for the same price. So i chise this, and i chose poorly. Theres only one thingI like about this toilet: the soft close lid. Its a nice feature to keep the lid from slamming shut. Now here the reasons why you need avoid this piece of junk. Its made entirely of plastic. Its lightweight, but i would venture to say if youre a larger individual youll break this thing easily. Second, from the bowl to the drain hole there is a 12" free fall. What this means is waste will be splashing around the inside of this thing instead of the black tank. Thats pretty nasty. Not only will your toilet now smell like poo, but there will literally be poo trapped inside this thing from the first day you use it. Not only is it unsanitary, its just plain nasty. Third, the water connection for those of us with older RVs is inadequate. This one was missing installation instructions, which is bo big deal for me because im pretty handy and can figure the installation out. But the water inlett looked like it was missing a tube. It is also 16" off the floor, ehich is 12" taller then my water line. I' have to get either some sharkbites or pex connectors and rig up a way to hook the water to the toilet. Thats a bit of an inconvenience. The toilet valve is not a ball valve, its a horizontal blade valve. Again, didnt seem like a solid connection to thw bowl, but also a great way to smear waste all over the underside. Another nasty feature. Finally, reiterating the fact its made entirely of plastic. This thing was a cheap way of charging people a high price for a low quality item. Its littered with design flaws, like no direct channel or funnel to ensure waste is directly deposited into the black tank. I really didnt want to spend a lot of cash on an item that is used infeequently, so im going to repair the old one because it has a ball valve, waste goes directly into the black tank, and the boel itself is made of porcelain. Once this one is completely shot, then ill invest in a toilet. I recommend not wasting money or time with this thing. Save up and get a porcelain bowl. Theyre a bit pricey (i think), but theyre way better than this steaming heap.
