My Norcold N811FRT was freezing over in the fridge section down to -14F. After some research I replaced with this and overnight we're back to regular temperature of 34F. Would recommend.

This product was not what I needed but did come in perfect working condition but I had to return it. Turns out it was my cooling unit :'''(Heads up: If you see a yellow powder under your coils of your cooling unit of your NORCOLD RV Fridge.. It's the cooling unit, at that point you can stop diagnosing why it isn't cooling. If you don't see a yellow powder or smell an ammonia smell then you have hope.

The thermister is an exact match the the old one. It installed easily. Be aware that you need a clip to attach the black part to the fin. The old one might be corroded. They are in expensive enough to go ahead and replace it.

I typicall throw parts at a problem, if they are cheap enough. The Norcold fridge in the motorhome I just bought would go down to 20 degrees even on the 1 setting. I tried cleaning and repositioning the thermister to no effect. Easy replace. Just take of the lamp lens and pull the connectors and replace. Holding a perfect 32 degrees afterward on the 2 setting, so I'm happy. Beer is just chilled right.

This Replacement Thermistor by Thetford Fixed my Norcold RV Refrigerator! My refrigerator was varying in temperature wildly and the cooling fins kept frosting over. Upon Ohming out the thermistor, I found it to be bad. Ordered the replacement, 2 days later it's in and working like new.If you are ohming out your thermistor, you are looking for something in the 9000 Ohms range on most fridges. Mine was at 4000 ohms when it even registered.Installation was easy since it just unplugs right there in the fridge. No more ice on the cooling fins and I'm maintaining a consistent temperature.

just what I needed to fix my rv refig, thought I would have to buy a new refig but tried this and the refig works fine now.TIP, if you refig will not get cold enough on both electric and propane try unplugging the thermistor - if it then gets cold the thermistor is the problem, keep in mind if it is the problem you will have to turn on and off the refig to keep it from freezing until you replace the thermistor- thank goodness for Amazon's fast shipping. There is another way to check the part using a OHM meter, unpluging it worked for me because it wouldn't cool very well, the same part could be to blame if it gets too cold.
