This toilet replaces a round bowl Thetford. It offers upgrades. Slow close seat/cover, complete flush adding water to the bowl, sanitary toilet seat, easy to clean compared to the round bowl waffle style(gross!) Comes with all necessary mounting hardware and gasket.Just because its sold as an elongated bowl, does not mean you have extra space. Buyer beware!

This is a very nice and well built toilet. It has all kinds of nice features, such as easy open and easy close. It fits perfectly in our every. Plus, it’s porcelain! Big thumbs up!

I do like the foot pedal flush on the front of the toilet. Easy to use and works well.

It took about 30 minutes to install this toilet once I had the correct pex tubing and tools to get the job done. So far love the looks of the toilet and workings. No Leaks whatsoever. I will update this review once I've used it for a while.

I just installed this two days ago, brand new. As soon as I tried it, the foot pedal sticks and the large ball valve does not open all the way. This causes "debris" to catch on it and requires cleaning every time it is used. As another post mentioned, there are areas of the bowl that do not receive water at times, adding to the need to clean it following every use. Very disappointing as I customized the tile floor around it to fit. Also, the toilet seat that comes with it is garbage. It's cheap and flimsy. I replaced it with a quality one from Home Depot. Contacting Thetford for resolution or replacing.Update. On closer inspection, I noticed that the foot pedal was broken. The plastic is so flimsy that it split along the reinforcement supports, so it flexes when it is stepped on. The plastic is so thin, I you can bend it 90 degrees with your hand. I spoke with Thetford and they sent me a new toilet to replace this one. Unfortunately, they packaging failed and it arrived with the ceramic bowl completely destroyed. Although I will have to redo all the tile around the base, I think it is worth it to find another solution. This toilet is poorly designed, made of the cheapest materials and is functionally substandard. Save yourself these headaches and buy something else.

I did a lot of research on trailer RV toilets before upgrading our toilet to this new one. I’m super happy we did it and it was incredibly easy. I watched a few you tube videos and within minutes we knew we could do it. I have zero plumbing experience and have only replaced a home toilet and not a RV/toilet. To be honest, this was easier than the home toilet.We had to use PEX tubing. 1/2 inch tubing with a few clamps and a clamp tool, and grab a few extra PEX 90 degree elbow pieces just in case. It took us less than 30 minutes to remove old toilet and replace it.We replaced our Thetford Aqua Magic 4 with this Thetford Aqua Magic Plus. Everything lined up. The holes from the older toilet made it easy for the new Thetford to go right in. New toilet came with a new flange. You won’t need a wax ring for this.Worse part is your face over the crap hole to the septic tank. I used an old towel, and balled it up to cover the hole while working near it. The hardest part was honestly maneuvering behind the RV toilet in such a small space to tighten clamps and screws.It feels exactly like a house/home toilet. The height is the same as home, the bowl is ceramic and it flushes silently. The flush is powerful as well.We got the ‘Plus’ toilet which only means the bowl is oblong shaped. The other one is the same toilet just a round bowl. Guys will want the china oblong bowl (this exact bowl style) while sitting down to do their business so their jewels don’t rub or touch the sides of the bowl. Lots of trailer toilets cause men’s junk to touch inside of the bowl while crapping...so getting the ‘plus’ style prevents this. And I can tell you that the men here are saying their junk isn’t touching the bowl.

Packaging was really good with a lot of foam to protect the toilet. Took about 5 minutes to pull the old one out and put this one in, i have installed a toilet before so i didn't even need the instructions. My water valve was slightly miss aligned but i have a fairly new RV so i have PEX tubing and i was able to bend mine over to meet the connection. The plastic bottom shroud seems kinda cheap but looks really good once installed. My bathroom no longer stinks and i don't think this one will overflow in the middle of the night like my last one did. YAY!
