Forget the rest. This is the only one needed. Bought this unit after purchased another from another seller. There's failed, this one worked as it should. Came completely sealed within a package, showing it's new. Had manufacture date etc. Full instructions. Spend the extra little and save your headaches from buying elsewhere.

I originally purchased another valve at a much cheaper cost. That valve would not turn off let water run continuously. Ended up having to take the toilet completely off the RV. Put this valve on hooked everything back up and it works flawlessly just like it did originally highly recommend spending the extra money on this one because it works.

I've had this toilet for 15 years. Valve begins leaking like clockwork ever 3 years & must be replaced. I always hoped they would improve the quality. Hasn't happened.

This product worked great. Unfortunately no matter which brand you buy they fail somewhat often. So if you need 1 order 2 so you have a spare.

Seemed to be exactly like the original valve (true OEM), which is good and bad (works fine, but the plastic will likely eventually fail).I wish they would have improved the part, but should work fine...

Purchased this part to replace a defective valve on our current Thetford RV toilet. All went well with installation (which didn't happen for a week or two after we received). But within 1-2 weeks the plastic that holds together busted apart with normal use. Contacted Thetford directly for support via their online submission form, since I didn't know if it was really returnable after use. Realized 2 weeks later I never heard from them (and of course, you don't receive an email confirmation of your form submission). And so now looks like my return window has closed as well (by one day no less). Horrible product and equally horrible support. Seems Thetford can't even make usable replacement parts for their own products. Or maybe that's their intention- to force us all to buy entirely new products, rather than repair existing ones. And not to respond to product support inquiries in timely fashion in hopes we will lose our return windows by that time. Definitely doesn't make me want to do business with Thetford ever again, that's for sure. Think I'll look for a new product to install in my RV. One that doesn't involve Thetford.UPDATE 6.3.21I called Thetford directly after receiving no response to my initial email inquiry. They did kindly sendme a replacement part at no charge. However, this was with the caveat that they were currently out of stock and would take 4-6 weeks to ship. Finally received my part in late March. Wasn't able to install until May 11. All seemed to be working, until it broke on 6.3.21- just over 3 weeks of use this time (woohoo- almost twice as long as the first time). Part broke in the EXACT same location as the previously ordered part. Clearly Thetford needs to revisit design and manufacture QC- it must be costing them more to ship repeated issue replacement parts, than it does to manufacture a part that does its job. Not to mention all the dissatisfied customers (very clear from the reviews of this product). Will not be ordering from Thetford again (now or in future), and will be looking for another toilet solution for my RV.

Great toilet that performs extremely well and is designed for easy installation and repair. In this case, the valve cracked because of winter freezing, and the design cleverly isolates this possibility to a single component failure. The component, in turn, is low-cost and simple to replace by a well-motivated novice who pays attention to details. In this repair, only the valve was needed, so the other parts are now spares. I wish more products were designed like this. In addition, the delivery by amazon.ca to a remote Canada Post office within a few days sets a new bar for service all round..

Okay, so here goes.When I bought my Class C Motorhome, the dealer lied to me (imagine that) about a leak behind my toilet. I have a Thetford 34060 Lite toilet. It's a nice toilet, nice pressure. However, after a while I began to feel wetness on the side-walling of the bathroom area (toilet has it's own small room to contain any smells, good design!) and it kept growing.Eventually the wetness spread out to my bedroom, and on the left side it began getting soaked in water. I had no idea what was happening. I did a pump test, and my water pump would kick on every 20 minutes or so to refill pressure into the water system, so I know there was a leak.I began looking, and to my surprise, found behind the toilet, at the top (IE nowhere near the wetness in the bathroom), it was also wet. I felt a small drip come out, but thought to myself... There's no way this drip that took 2 minutes to fall was causing that much depressurization in the water system. I then flushed the toilet while feeling back there, and felt that it squirted water out! AHA! Found the cause of the leak. Apparently the main cylinder expanded and was retaining water due to the previous owners' high water pressure without a regulator.I searched and searched until I found this unit. It didn't directly say it works for this toilet, but it DOES work. It fixed my issue and didn't take long to replace at all! Again, this WILL work on a Thetford 34060 Lite model!
